Fine hotel
Convenient location for Messe Exhibit Large rooms (for Europe) Overall nice place; just dont expect coffee in your room and there is no ironing board (a must after your shirts have been over 16 hours in a suitcase...)

Great location..great hotel
Close proximity to Hamburg Dammtor station (one stop from Hamburg Hbf). Clean, well-sized room in a beautiful hotel. Hotel staff was exceptionally friendly.

A Grand Hotel
Our room was clean,the beds were comfortable and the robes and slippers provided were cosey. We especially enjoyed the spa which had a nice pool, hot tub, steam room and a eucaliptus sauna which was great for the sinuses. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.

Great Spot in a Great City
Outstanding! Service was great, the hotel itself is beautiful, and it is located in a very desireable part of the City of Hamburg. I would recommend the Grand Elysee to anyone.

In Hotel
Hotel dining rooms (there are several) are all very nice. A bit pricey by American standards, but quite competitive with other first class hotel dining rooms in Europe.

Overpriced but spacious
The hotel is OK, however it is not 5*. It looks slightly dated but rooms are clean and spacious. Air conditioning stops working at night which causes some discomfort. No kettle so one can not have a hot drink in the room. A bottle of water in the fridge costs 5 euros. The bonus is the hotel is located in a short stroll to the scity centre.

a hotel with a great ambience
I attended business meetings held at the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station. Its walls are full of beautiful paintings. Various musicians performed live in the lobby every night during the week of my stay. The staff are very courteous. I would gladly recommend this hotel.
