The Creatif Hotel Elephant Munich is a bright and cheerful family run modern hotel located on a quite side street in the heart of Munich, Germany. This great location offers guests the opportunity explore the city's cultural district which is just a short stroll from this modern Bavarian Hotel. Short Break

It was ideal for us (4 ladies) for the Christmas Market, the staff put us all in one room as requested, the beds were reall comfy - the staff greeting us were very friendly (although the night porter not so). I would go back though!!

Terrific location, small room, good value

Literally steps from the S-Bahn. The room was small,but at <$100 in Munich who can complain. The staff was great. Breakfast was not included at this rate but that was fine with us.

Only a 10 minute walk to the Augustiner Keller, one of the best beer halls & gardens in Munich.

not too bad

The hotel was quite old, lacking any sort of renovation. They gave us a smoking room, which smelt really bad and caused us to have difficulty sleeping. There was no soap in the bathroom, instead they expected people to use hair shampoo to wash hands. The helpful staff and the location (very close to the main train station) were two advantages of this hotel. In summary, this is an okay place for a short stay and the price is good.

Unbeatable location for the price

the room was narrow we could not move throgh it , no mini bar , no air condition

Convenient, clean, cheap & colourful

The Creatif Elephant is colourful both outside and in, which adds a little character to a budget hotel. Despite being literally only a couple of minutes walk from the station it is quiet for a city centre hotel. The rooms are small, but neat and clean. Breakfast was a buffet, with cold meats, cheeses and jams, and hot sausages and scrambled eggs. Reception is staffed 24 hours and all those on duty while we were there spoke good English. Apart from breakfast there is no dining room or bar, but you are so close to the station and city that it didn't matter. The rooms don't have kettles but reception can supply hot water if you want to make your own tea or coffee. We were told it's possible to stay in Munich for less, but you are likely to be much further from the centre.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Munich has a thriving partner dance scene, including swing and modern jive, which is fairly new to Germany. If you dance, try "Cat's Corner" or "Jivin' Munich".

Convenient location

The sheets were obviously unchanged from the last guests. The staff was friendly. No AC, so it was very loud with the window open.
