TRYP by Wyndham Munich North

We chose this hotel because it was close to Mozart Square, had free parking and guest accesible laundry. I also thought breakfast might be included since the wording in the descriptions said that guests will enjoy breakfast in the restaurant. I noticed it didn't say breakfast included in green like others had, so I was a little confused by the wording. When I checked in, I asked where the laundry room was only to be told that they didn't have one. You could pay to have them do the laundry, or if you want to do it yourself you had to go to the bus station nearby. Well, guest accesible laundry is a little misleading - and I asked about breakfast and she said it was included. The next morning however, we found out it was not. The hostess at the stand turned us away and we had to go to the front desk and get a little piece of paper for admittance and then pay over 12 Euro a piece for the standard breakfast fare you get at most places in Euorpe, albeit presented in a bit fancier manner. I was embarrassed and starting to get miffed at all the little miscommunications. So when I went to check out and they asked for 10 more Euro for parking, I was really done. Neither the front desk lady nor the manager was really listening to what I was trying to tell them. They just kept saying they wanted to see my reservation, when I was trying to tell them all the misinformation was on the home page. After trying to explain to them at least 3 different times, the manager just finally told me it was not confusing and I got a good rate anyway. The point was not paying for the breakfast, which I had told them twice, but the fact that I wanted to do laundry and had chosed that hotel for that "accessible" laundry room and the free parking. The wording about breakfast was confusing with "will" instead of "might" or "may" enjoy breakfast and the fact that I was told one thing at night and another in the morning. The bottom line is had the staff been pleasant about the miscommunication, willing to listen, etc., I wouldn't have felt motivated to write all this, but they were both rude and condescending. The hotel itself is clean and not far from the old part of town, but beware - parking is NOT free and the front desk staff are a bit hard to talk to.

Experience was great. Customer service was excellent. Was there to catch a flight the next day, and they took care of everything, even checking me in online. Didnt have to worry about anything. Needed to turn a car in with a company that doesnt have a turn in at the airport. They called for me and made all the reservations. Great experience

Our overnight stay was very pleasant. The room was very clean; the hotel personnel very courteous, and the food was very good. Would definitely stay there again.

Night life in the small village of Neufahrm outside of Munich is quiet, too quiet. But if you are looking for a good bed not too far from the airport this muiight be your place.

I chose this hotel because [...]website showed they had shuttle service to and from airport. I assumed they had their own shuttle bus, wrong. They provide a pay for service shuttle that must be reserved 24 hours in advance. The cost for shuttle is 8 euro vs 26 euro for Taxi. So I had about $50 dollars in shuttle fee's I was not expecting.

The hotel staff is pretty unfriendly and not very knowledgable. [...]If you book a single room you will get a tiny room (maybe 40 sqft) under a roof. The location is good only if you need to be close to the airport. If you need to be close to downtown Munich do NOT book this hotel even though they advertise to be close the subway station. Also, if you arrive late like I did the parking garage might be full and you have to park somewhere outside in the street.

Used the hotel as an overnight for the airport and was not disappointed. We arrived late and spent some time in the bar.....very good service. Its a basic motel with good proximity to the airport albeit not easy to find as it is in a small village close to the airport.
