The O & B Athens Boutique Hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The room cleanliness and comfort were amazing. The staff was exceptional and went out of there way to help us in any way that they could. They have a great restaurant with an assortment of food items and beverages.

Went to Athens in Dec 2011.... The location of the Hotel is very good. You can walk to the Acropolis and Plaka or many other places in the town center. Is located in one of the main avenues of the city and near two subway stations. If you plan to use the subway I would recommend to get off in the Panepistimio Station and not in the Omonia Station. The first one I think its safer and more tourist friendly. The rooms are ok.... regular comfort. The wi-fi is not included, you can buy a package for a few days or a few hours..... but keep in mind that is extra charge.
The breakfast is included and is an american menu (eggs, bacon, cereal, juice ,bread) it was good. Overall is a good hotel in a very good location with fair prices.

The hotel was clean as was the room,cleaned daily. The entire staff was excellent. Going beyond just friendly, they each answered all our questions and met our needs. The location is now not the best. The area is now habitated with street people. We did not go out after dark. The situation in Athens politically is bad.Police presence is everywhere. We are not planning to return.

Hotel itself was fine, staff was nice and willing to help. Rooms were dated, but clean and coffee/breakfast in the morning was nice. The location of the hotel in terms of proximity to Plaka, Metro station, National Museum and Acropolis was great for those who want to see the city on foot, not too far away from anything, and easy metro access to the airport and ferry port. The neighborhood is pretty rough, lots of graffiti, drug use and prostitution, but as far as we could tell that is common in almost all of Athens, plenty of 5 star hotels in the same neighborhood for much higher rates. Stay on the major streets 2 and 3 blocks to the east for access to all the major sites and you should be OK. Don't come here expecting luxury, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower, it should work OK.

シングルで2泊しました。立地と治安がいいというので泊まりましたが、プラカ地区にも徒歩10分、空港行きバス停にも徒歩5分くらい（荷物にもよりますが）、と、ほんとにとても便利でした。バスルームが極端に狭いのですが、設備も調度品もいいので、安心感はあります。
スタッフのサービスがとてもよかったです。特にポーターの方がとても親切でした！！スーツケースの他に重い手荷物が沢山あったのですが、帰国するため空港行きのバス乗り場に一人で行こうとしたら、ポーターの方が台車で荷物を運んでくれました。そして、デモがあったためバスが運休しているのがわかると、地下鉄の切符売り場まで同行してくれました。本当に助かりました！次回からは定宿にしようと思っています。

We stayed here for to sleep in between a flight and a drive across Greece. This place was amazing value (31.00GBP) and is close to the metro station - not quite as close as Parnon which we stayed at on the way out. The room was tiny, as was the bathroom. Free and superbly fast internet. For all that, it was exactly what we wanted.

Stayed for two nights on sightseeing tour of Greece. The hotel is comfortable (the bathroom i s especially luxurious), but minibar and restaurant prices are outrageous. Location is very convenient for Athens metro.

The hotel was very nice as expected; however, everything cost extra, very much extra! A drink in the exclusive rooftop bar is euro 20. It was worth staying there for the exceptional price I recieved of $160 a nite, but for the regular $260, go someplace else...

While this hotel may be advertised as 5 stars, it is nowhere near a five stars experience. The amenities are silly (a CD player instead of something useful like coffee) and a terrible, terrible neighborhood. I only stayed there because I had business nearby, but even now I doubt I would ever, ever stay again. It's decent, in the sense that you can simply sleep there if you don't care about anything else. But if you desire comfort, look elsewhere

The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the duration of my stay. The hotel has trendy, fun common areas, with great views of the city at night. The rooms have a nice size compared to accomodations at other European hotels. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Metro but the neighborhood is less than desirable.

Not the most central of locations but only 5 minutes on Metro to key sites after 5 minute walk to Metro. Staff very helpful, club room 1st class and great value as it included breakfast. Roof top pool was small and not open in October

Great modern and fresh facilities. Staff not over friendly but still adequate. Location so-so - just down the road from the Hilton Athens. However, the establishment next door to the Crowne Plaza ('Sex Theatre'), complete with seedy neon signs, really lessens the attractiveness of the area. Would return if I got a better price.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Overall it was a nice facility and had pretty good service. The hotel is on a tiny street that is not easy to find... even the cab drivers had a hard time. The rooms were nice and clean and the complimentary breakfast buffet had a very nice selection.

we came from a cruise and stayed one day in athens. Athens Cypria is a small hotel but in a perfect location. we did not have to take another bus or taxi to go around. acropolis was 10 minutes away and the stores around were wonderful. we had an early flight the next day, we had to leave at 4am, the hotel people prepared continental breakfast just for us. friendly staffs. we will stay there again if we ever go back to athens.

Great hotel in a not so great location

Awesome swimming pool on the rooftop with an amazing view of the Acropolis. The hotel rooms, breakfast, etc.. all at the Marriott standard that i've expected and has been exceed for an hotel in Europe. But the physical location of the hotel is less than desirable. The hotel shuttle ends at 2;30pm hence you're stuck with cabs.

Du bruit à cause de la circulation et de certains clients qui ne pensent qu'à eux. Il est écrit quelque part dans les commentaires que l'hôtel est situé dans un quartier "chaud" ; je n'ai eu aucun problème. Au niveau restauration, pas trop de choix. Vue magnifique sur l'Acropole depuis la terrasse où se trouve le restaurant.

The staff was very helpful and let us use their printer and fax machine. Wifi in room was weak but functional. Beds not very comfortable. A/c is set at 25 degrees. It is on a busy street, but double-paned balcony made the noise tolerable. Breakfast was more than enough to fill us up. Very close to metro. Room was clean but had a funny smell. The area seemed to be a lot safer than Omonia etc.

Unbeatable location for the price

Nothing elaborate, but we got more than enough for the money. Instead of taking the main street from the hotel; turn left when you leave the building and you will find nice restaurants and grocery stores. Breakfast is always the same. Free internet is never a hassle and always works well in the room regardless the floor you're on. Oh and the bathroom had a small tub rather than just a shower. That was good. Pleased for the price.

the first room i was given left me almost choked with strong cigarette smell so that i asked a change. the new one with 3 beds seemed a bit better bearable, wondering why the hotel still allows smoke inside.
the staff are all nice and helpful. the hotel is close to the subway station.
2 blocks away there're restaurants and grocery stores.
I came across 3 pocket pickings in a single day but it's nothing to do with the hotel.

Good Airport Recovery Spot

This was a spot we picked traveling home from the Greek islands for a stay close to the airport for travels the next morning. The location is good as it's in a less conjested area of Athens (Vira) and about a 25 Euro cab v 35 Euro cab to downtown. Also the price was excellent [...] vs $200+ dollars for an airport hotel (6 miles still away). They even added an extra bed at no cost. Would recommend for my scenario

Hotel d'escale entre deux avions, il bénéficie d'un accès direct l'aeroport par 2 bus qui sont aux pieds de l'hotel, mais c'est un peu loin. Bon prix pour un hotel de qualité standard type 2*. Pas de petits déjeuners.

This is a beautiful hotel with a luxurious feel to it. It has an incredible rooftop view of the parthenon. the staff was very attentive polite and knowledgeable. We had booked an additional tour and the man who checked us in knew that it was not going to run the day we had booked (we went in the off season) and took care of our arrangements so that we could go on the only day of the week the day-cruise was going.
The location for walking to the main attractions of Athens (acropolis, hadrians library, agora, zeus's temple, kerameikos), souveneirs and a plethora of cafes couldn't get any better. You are right in the heart of Athens tourist culture. The downside is that you will hear a lot of road noise, get a lot of lights from the street, and smell a lot of exhaust, even when you keep you balcony door closed.
The rooms were clean and included the standard toiletries and a haidrdryer. If coming from the US you will need a converter for other appliances. There are two restaurants, and the downstairs restaurant has a wonderful buffet breakfast. The upstairs restaurant is not typical of the cafe fare, but it is very delicious, although more expensive.

When we arrived, I was SHOCKED at the small size of the standard room! :( It was just me and a kid (12) and we had two suitcases, 2 backpacks and a carry-on suitcase and it could all barely fit into the room! The bathroom is even smaller. You have practically NO counter space and the tub/shower has a half door so you have to maneuver well to not get water outside of the tub! :( The hotel breakfast is really nice and a great deal...you want to start your day with a good meal to make it through a day of sightseeing in Athens. The workers at the hotel are business like and stiff but are kind. If you stay at hotel, and can afford it, get a room LARGER than standard...especially if it is 2 or more people.

Chambre propre avec clime, petit déjeuner inclus, rénové probablement. Pas mal pour le prix. Mais comme je l'ai dis pour un autre hotel dans le même quartier ça craint la nuit le quartier.
Mais par chance un resto tipique grèc est juste en face du hotel donc pas besoin de se deplacer pour manger.
Chose bisare les taximetristes ne voulais pas trop aller quand ils entendaient Koumoundouru street :)

I enjoyed the hotel staff mostly [...]. They were helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to everything, but not in a great (safe) area. It can get a little scary at night. However, if you stick to the main roads, it is only a 15 minute walk to the ruins. For the money, it was well worth it. I would recommend the hotel if you want to be close, but not too close and save a few dollars.

Overall a great experience. Breakfast is terrific. Information at the desk is a bit tedious (but they do try and will look things up if specifically asked to do it). Room was spacious and romantic.

You can stay if you wish! but it is not an exclusive and convinient place. I would not choose it again. Elevators are poor and you have to wait for a long time, personal looks very tired, no smiles. Only check out was quick and I got a smile! probably reason was that they don't see us anymore:-)

Even though the best places to see and eat aren't necessarily within walking distance, the metro station is right out in front of the building making it very easy to get around.
It is more of a convention hotel, but does have accessible balconies and a decent view from the roof. The rooftop pool is very small, but the bar & restaurant on the roof are nice (expect hotel prices).

Evripides katu on aivan Ateenan sydämmessä, kadulla sijaitsee eksoottisia mauste- ja pähkinäkauppoja (ja siemenmyymälöitä). Ihanat Ateenan kauppahallit ovat parin korttelin päässä - tuoretta kalaa kalaravintoloista & halvat hinnat. Myös Psirrin sydämessä olevat ravintolat ja tavernat ovat lähellä, illalla tosin kannattaa katsoa millä pikkukadulla kulkee koska narkomaaneja on lähistöllä ja työttömiä siirtolaisnuoria maleksii kaduilla.
Evripides katu saattaa olla meluinen aamuisin, joten huone yläkerroksista on paras (6 kerroksessa ihanat isot parvekkeet tai terassit- pohjoiseen päin joten aurinko ei porota sisään).
Hotelli on siisti, hyvä internet yhteys ja henkilökunta super ystävällistä ja avuliasta!

The hotel was fine for a budget hotel. It was very clean with good facilities and the views of the Acropolis from my balcony and the rooftop terrace were fantastic. The only downside was the location. It is in an area quite close to various sites but the neighbourhood is very seedy with groups of males hanging around and drug deals occurring in broad daylight. I did not venture out at night as I was travelling on my own.

The hotel is located near the bus stops and walking distance to the trams. Centrally located near the popular sight seeing places and a sleazy area. The room is very secure with about 3 types of sliding doors to the balcony.The staff are helpful.

We were traveling with my 20 year old daughter, so the room was a little cramped with three beds in it. However, it was spotless as we've come to expect in Greece, and very quiet considering its city location. The white noise of the AC never hurts either! The breakfast was a lovely spread including fruit, and they didn't rush to put it away at the appointed hour. Cigarette odor was minimal, and about as good as you're likely to get in Greece as non-smokers' rights are still not taken all too seriously here. We wanted to return and make it our base of operations in Greece, but it was full. Location is on the edge of a not so good neighborhood, but that street is OK and we were quite comfortable coming and going.
