The Athens Art Hotel is 4-star new elegant boutique hotel, operating in a renovated neoclassical building of 1930, situated in the center of Athens, within walking distance from the national archaeological museum and Omonoia square. In the main floor, there is a large lobby and also a cafeteria and a bar - restaurant, very elegantly furnished and decorated, which communicate through a double height foyer, where a vintage chandelier dominates. The sophisticated combination of modern design furniture with precious antiques and original paintings create a very elegant unique atmosphere that one can never forget. The Hotel is very easily accessible by various means of public transportation, including the metro.

A great value

An unbelievable value. Like a bit of Paris in Athens. The room had hardwood floors, a crystal chandelier, a beautiful marbe bathroom, and double French doors to block out the city noise. The Staff was so friendly and helpful! They even had continental breakfast ready for us at 4:45 AM because we had an early flight out of Athens.

Great room

Lovely hotel, staff helpful beyond the call of duty

The Art is a lovely hotel, run by extremely pleasant, helpful people. They even did our laundry free of charge and came outside and threatened the taxi driver who took us to Pireaus with retribution if he tried to fleece us.

Average at Best

We checked in late (approximately 11:00PM). After walking in the room we heard the noise of running water and discovered that the water closet bowl was malfunctioning and water was spilling out on the floor throughout the restroom area. The gentleman from front desk unsuccessfully attempted to fix the problem but finally resorted to providing us with extra towels instead. The TV remote control was no where to be found and the TV did not operate without one.
