I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my daughter. It is a very nice place: central location, very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Athens.

Rather disappointing
The hotel is new, and incomplete. In fact, our bathroom door frame was unfinished with edges of tile and insulation showing. There were no room service menus and no phone extensions - we couldn't even call the front desk. Everything seemed disorganized and wasteful. Everyday, even though we hung our towels neatly on the towel bars, they were replaced with new towels. The staff were not helpful and did not have knowledge of local sites or day trips. The staff were not helpful with navigating the city or using public transport. The breakfast buffet had too many sweet things and not enough savory items for my tastes and the eggs that were out were cold and poached hard.

Take the Express Airport Bus X95 to or from Syntagma Square and save BIG TIME on a taxi. Taxi is 50 Euros, the bus ticket is 5 Euros.

Luxury, convenience and friendliness
The decor is modern and stylish and literally sparkles.Great location near to everything you need in Athens including good restaurants.Very clean. vert comfortable and the staff so friendly and helpful.

Diamond Hotel Athens
This is a boutique hotel with only about 20 rooms and is brand new. The complimentary breakfast is excellent! Crepes, fruits, eggs, cereal, croissants, breads, etc. This was the best part for us. Within walking distance to acropolis and monastraki flea market. Acropolis is free on Sundays,& the museum is closed on Mondays. We had a fridge & cd player, but no cd's or iron/board. This hotel was in the heart of the city and close to almost everything. Since in city, a little noisy in the street. The bed and pillows were super comfy - slept great!! Liked the 32" LCD tv - wish we had movies to watch, since most shows in Greek. There are no rental places here we were told, just documentaries about Athens.

The Diamond Hotel is located right in the heart of the Plaka, which is in walking distance to everything, shopping, the acropolis and museum, lycabettus hill. Just a little hard to locate since the hotel's sign is against the wall and does not protrude to show from down the street.

Diamond Hotel
This is a new, very nice, small, clean hotel in a perfect location to Syntagma square and all of the key Athens sights are within easy walking distance. Good breakfast is served and free internet and computers to use. Rooms are small but adequate.

Perfect location, staff friendly
Perfect location, staff friendly and helpful, clean, we were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Affordable Luxury
This hotel had a great location. It is near to Constitution Square, The Acropolis, Museums and Shopping. In addition it is not in a seedy area like some of the other hotels near these items. The hotel was elegantly furnished. It had an elevator. The elevator is small but it still had one. The Air Condition worked. The computers provided with free internet was wonderful. And let me not forget the free bottled water. The Breakfast provided was a wow. It had all kind of choices. The staff was charming and helpful.

Very good location, but very small
Very good location, but very small rooms and bathrooms. With no lobby area. Very clean and cozy.Excellent bed. Wireless access to Internet in every room.
