A great quality hotel in the heart of Athens. The main shopping and sightseeing areas are easily accessible. (1108/AC) This is a fully renovated neoclassical building. This property is situated in the heart of Athens opposite the National Theatre and the Church of St Constantine. Omonia Square is a minutes walk away together with the Omonia metro station. Beyond this is the historic area of Monastiraki, Thissio and Plaka. The trendy area of Psirri with it's many picturesque tavernas, restaurants and bars is a short walk away. The airport is 40 minutes by either metro or car.

With a mixture of rooms and suites, this hotel as retained some of it's neoclassical features which can be perceived in the high ceilings of the rooms. Rooms have a contemporary feel with wooden floors, soft neutral colours and modern facilities including telephone, internet access, satellite television, music, air conditioning, safe box, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers in the bathrooms.

This hotel is not in a good area

We had booked this hotel for our last night in Greece. We did not make it to the hotel. This side of Omonia square resembles Times Square. It is not a good location at all. About a block before the hotel (coming from the metro), we turned around and went with the hotel that we had stayed on our first night in Greece (we spent most of our trip exploring the islands). Didnt see the hotel but we just did not feel at all comfortable in this exact area.
