bare bone place - hostel like
i'd compare it to more of a hostel than a hotel. it's probably priced higher than the average hostel in the area. safe place but out of the way from most attraction sites.

filoxenia hotel in athens, greece
The location was perfectly situated near Victoria Square... easy to reach all major tourist locations in the city. The hotel is very quaint...and best suits the 'easy going' type of traveler...one that doesn't anticipate spending much time in his/her room. The rooms are adequate...beds, tv, air con, shower etc...but nothing extra special. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget... looking for a nice easy spot in a very busy city.

If you are looking for a GREAT night out... go to the GAZI area... take the metro to the Kermaikos stop. ....under no circumstance should you visit the LAVA BORE club...near Syngtagma metro. ...many people, on realizing you are a tourist, will suggest this spot...ignore them politely... it's filled with a large number of american high school kids on field trip...which is fun... if that is your scene.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was not in the city centre but there is a bus stop at the front door and the hotel was walking distance to the underground and overground trains. If you like walking you can walk to the city centre in about 30 minutes. The rooms were clean and functional. The included breakfast is basic. Basically you get what you pay for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants good cheap accomodation within easy public transport of the city and they don't need 5 star luxury or prices.

Pokoj w miare przyzwoity i czysty.
Pokoj w miare przyzwoity i czysty. Tylko lazienka jak za czasow PRL-u sprawiajaca wrazenie niewyczyszczonej (wanna obdrapana, "sluchawka" jako prysznic bez mozliwosci powieszenia na scianie, farba schodzaca ze sciany). Pokoj powinien byc tanszy za ten standard. Obsluga mila i uczynna, mowiaca po angielsku. Dostalismy klucze od pokoju wczesniej niz poczatek doby hotelowej. Wylatywalismy o 5 rano, wiec bez sniadania za ktore zapalacilismy, a recepcjonista od razu powiedzial, ze dostaniemy o 1 w nocy herbate lub kawe i cos do zjedzenia (niestety nie bylo pieczywa bo otrzymuja je zawsze rano). Bardzo blisko spacerem do metra przez Polska dzielnice.

Pas de souci pour trouver l'hôtel,
Pas de souci pour trouver l'hôtel, chambres climatisées, moyennement confortables mais pour passer quelques nuits, ce n'est pas vraiment un souci. Le petit déjeuner gagnerait à être étoffé.
