Great Hotel
Can't find anything major to complain about. The hotel is very clean, rooms are great. Got great price with a room facing the acropolis on the executive floor. Had beverage and food service all day on that floor and a complete buffet breakfast in the am. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean and modern. Would stay there again in a minute. I guess only complaint would be that they would not let you bring a glass of soda or anything out of the lounge. So you had to finish your coffee or beverage there which was difficult at times, and felt food prices were a little expensive. But other than that the pool was great also.

nice hotel, pricey food
Stayed for two nights on sightseeing tour of Greece. The hotel is comfortable (the bathroom i s especially luxurious), but minibar and restaurant prices are outrageous. Location is very convenient for Athens metro.

If you're traveling in an area with reliable water, take an empty water bottle with you and fill it after the security check rather than paying airport prices for bottled water.

Athens Hilton
The hotel was very nice as expected; however, everything cost extra, very much extra! A drink in the exclusive rooftop bar is euro 20. It was worth staying there for the exceptional price I recieved of $160 a nite, but for the regular $260, go someplace else...

Had it been for Breakfast, 3 stars
Maybe because I was just comming from an outstanding week spent at the Shangri-La in Taipei, but the weakest point at the Hilton in Athens was clearly the breakfast service. On arrival day, Sunday, once I got a table I was assured I could go get my meal just to return and find another person sitting in my spot. During week days, expect to find long lines at rush hour and empty trays, no glasses in some of the buffet items. Definitely not the best way to start your day.

Athens Hilton
we only stayed one night, room very large and modern and clean. easy to catch the #95 bus to the airport the next morning for 3.20 euro per person, a real bargain compaired to the 40-50 euro cab fare. front desk friendly and informative.

Great hotel; staff lacks good attitude
We spend four days at the Hilton Athens following a 12-day cruise. Hotel was great in every way, except: staff, particularly at the rooftop bar/retaurant and breakfast area could be surly and slow; everything was super expensive (i.e.: $34 Euros/day for Internet and movies), even though the room was quite reasonable. Breakfast (only if you get it in your package, otherwise it is 32 Euros) was fabulous. If you want to use Internet, the Business Center is a much better deal, with a 10 Euro charge for an hour.

Short walk from hotel
The Metro system of underground trains is clean, efficient and easy to use. For only 1 Euro, it is a great bargain compared with using taxis.
