Great location/breakfast. Old but clean.
As American traveling in Greece, at first we were underwhelmed. The area was run-down, the hotel was old, and the room was very small. However, it was very clean and we had everything we needed. The rooftop breakfast is such a wonderful amenity. Our travel agency booked the hotel in a big package deal so I can't really comment on value, since I don't really know what the rate was.

The hotel was in an ok location
The hotel was in an ok location but the room was in poor shape. Carpets need cleaning and the hotel smelt like mothballs. Staff were not very friendly. Only good thing was the view of the Parthenon from the rooftop bar.

It is near the Plaka BUT that is all
The staff were not friendly, we tried to make conversation but could not get any response, the carpet on the floor outside the room had a bad odor, it needed to be replaced. On the positive side, the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood about a five minute walk to the plaka. The breakfast was very good but the dining room staff were not friendly at all. We never felt welcome.

perfect location!!
The hotel is located ideally for visiting the Acropolis and other sites by foot. The nearby neighborhoods (Adrianou & Thiseiou) with adorable cafes & shops with view of the acropolis from every seat. Conviently located by metro stops as well. The staff was very helpful in suggesting activities, coordinating taxis, tours, etc.

Awesome rooftop garden for breakfast!
The location was perfect for exploring the Platka and ruins. We loved the roof top garden and restaruant, it was perfect for cocktails and breakfast. The unfortunate part of our stay was the front desk staff. We notified the front desk that our luggage would be arriving sometime during our stay. We found our bags sitting in the middle of the lobby, unattended the next morning. The front desk staff didn't move them to a safer location or notify us of their arrival. Fortunately, nothing was missing, but more attention could have paid to our situation.

Great View!
The Jason Inn in Athens had great views from the rooftop dining area of the Acropolis. Breakfast had a variety of items. Dinner menu was also good. The neighborhood was about the only concern, however we had no problems and the police had a station on the street. Bathroom was small, but that's Europe. The Metro was close by so we could hop on to see the attractions. All in All, I would say our stay there was positive and I would stay again.
