New Years in Athens
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because of the neighborhood it is located in: streets and businesses filled with the scourge of Athens - Graffiti. But still safe and pleasant business owners all around, so don't let that deter you, because this is truly a wonderful hotel with wonderful and friendly people who work there. My only complaint is that we were not told where to go to see the very small fireworks display (The Acropolis, not the Parliament building where we ended up#, but it was my fault for not checking into it more carefully. We still had fun and would recommend the O&B Athens Boutique to anyone. It's location as far as walking to see the sites around Athens and the hop- on, hop- off bus is perfect. The breakfast #included) was fantastic. The room, small but clean and comfortable. And again, the staff made us feel like family. It's not their fault that the government is letting the Graffiti - Taggers take over the town.

1.Start with the Hop-on, Hop off bus to get a feel for the city. 2. Go to the Acropolis museum before you go to the Acropolis. 3.Don't miss climbing wolf-mountain (the highest hill in Athens, can't remember the greek name but it begins with Lyca. 4. Spend the 35 Euros to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel when you arrive and then after you are familiar with the neighborhood, take the train at Monastiriki back to the airport when you leave. 5 min. walk from hotel. 5. Don't let the graffiti and the racy DVD stores scare you. This is a safe city with people that will help you if you need it.

A great boutique hotel
A wonderful hotel in a down to earth working class area. The hotel is somewhat of a missfit in this area as its class and amenities are first class and do not reflect the area. However, once you get used to the area you feel quite comfortable as the people of the area are very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is ideally located close to the Acropolis and many eateries and antique shops. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and accomodating. One nice point is that they provided a welcome platter of sweets and drinks on our arrival. A very nice hotel missfitted in a working class area where the people in the area are friendly and welcoming,

Hidden Gen in Athens Center
I have to admit, I was a little sketched out as we approached, but the hotel itself is a true oasis. Not far from some great pedestrian walkways near some of the city's main arteries, O&B is a genuine top notch boutique hotel. Felt as good as any I've stayed in (and that's a lot). I'd highly recommend it! Excellent staff, great facilities, and the food was beyond our high expectations.

Great location, nearby to Acropolis, good shopping dining really close by. Metro just a short walk away and very handy if you are coming or going to Pireaus for the ferries, only a short metro ride away. Hotel very comfortable, staff so helpful and friendly. would definitely stay there again.

Our final destination in a very good vacation.
The O&B was a very good hotel and the staff was very informative and helpful. The neighborhood seems seedy and a bit shady but it is just around the corner from the tourist area and very accessible to all the sights.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Suggestions were always excellent, unbiased, and drawn on a map so it was near impossible to get lost. One night the guy actually walked onto the street with me to point out exactly how to get to my destination. The room wasn't large but it was well designed and modern. The shower was the best rain head I have ever used, and I've used quite a few. Overall, I felt like I got four seasons service, but without the price (I've stayed at many four seasons). Lastly, the breakfast was excellent!!

Great Location and Friendly Staff!
This was the best experience I have had with a hotel in Europe. The staff was so helpful in both finding and booking things to do around Athens. The staff was available 24/7 and always available for questions. The breakfast each morning is beyond any continental breakfast I have had, serving hot omelets and an assortment of greek snacks. You could not get a better location, just a 2 minute walk to the nearest metro and only ~5 minute walk to the Acropolis. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay!
