This is an excellent seafront family resort, with a wide range of services and in close proximity to the city of Heraklion and the airport (12/10 EP) It is a purpose built seafront complex set amidst lush gardens and boasting 2 swimming pools. The hotel is at the beach of Amoudara, in a distance of 7 km from Heraklion and 12 km from the international Airport. It is 10 minutes away from the center of Heraklion by public transport and at the same time on the wonderful sandy beach of Amoudara, surrounded by beautiful blossom gardens that offer a relaxing walking space.

Although I had a good holiday I was not expecting a 4 star hotel in such a need of modernization. The hotel is probably almost 30 years old and the rooms are still, I guess the same as when it first open. My bath had been broken and instead of
replacing it they patched it up, old dated furniture, TV exactly that, 30 years old. The bed was comfortable. I was there for 12 nights and I had my bed sheets changed only once and the daily cleaning was very basic.I went "all inclusive" but I had to pay for the bottles of water, expresso coffee and apart from wine and bear there was not much more inclusive, the sun beds were the hotel property but again that was not inclusive I paid 5€ per day for two sunbeds .I have to say that the staff was extremely friendly and polite. The food is plenty but on the second week the menu is the same as in the first week, so I had to go to the village to have a rest from the "same old" I don't think I had good value for money therefor I will not recommend this hotel in a "all inclusive"
