Marin Dream Rooms

- The rooms, although fairly small, are all decorated to an extremely high standard. Each has its own unique character yet the main theme of dark wood, large stylish headboards and modern furniture flows through each room. The bathrooms are fresh and modern and the hotel undoubtedly boasts the best views in town.

This is the second time I have stayed here and recommended others to use the hotel too. Always excellent! Handy for the bus station for onward journeys and an easynwalk into the town centre. Thganks Marin I will see you again soon!

Good location, clean,
We came in late on the ferry and just needed a place to stay for the night. This location worked great. The room was clean and a good breakfast was on the rooftop with a great view.

the real deal
this is a reasonably priced hotel in a great location near the water and short walk to the pedestrian shopping areas. i broke my arm while in heraklion, and the staff were great about seeing to my needs. the free internet access helped in re-arranging my travel plans. the ample breakfast served on the top floor with a panoramic view of the harbor was useful in enabling my associates and i to go all day if necessary without further food. i have no complaints, and plan to book the hotel next time i am able to visit this wonderful island.

Short walk from hotel
found a wonderful little bookstore up the hill from the hotel. the owner plied us with raki and chocolates, and along with his local customers/friends who would wander in from time to time, kept us engaged in stimulating conversation for hours before finally allowing us to make our purchases.

Good and convenient
Great location, awesome service. Extensive breakfast included. Super for catching the ferry or a bus to other towns or venues like the palace of Knossos, only meters away from the port and the bus station. Only drawback, rooms could be bigger. But I'll return anyway due to all the pluses.

This Hotel is in a good location
This Hotel is in a good location for the bus depot. The breakfast room is spectacular overlooking the harbour. The staff on the reception desk were particularly helpful, informative and friendly.

Stayed here 3 times after late
Stayed here 3 times after late flights in - very convenient for airport and to get to busues next day. Lovely room on top of building where you eat a v good breakfast overlooking the harbour, & will be back!

Great Hotel, Great Value
This is a very comfortable and quiet hotel near the harbor. The main bus station is only a few blocks away, which is very convenient for taking day trips out of Heraklion. The archeological museum is also nearby. The town center is about six blocks away. A wonderful buffet breakfast is served on the top floor of the hotel. The breakfast room has large windows overlooking the harbor and the 16th century Venetian fort. The rooms were nice. The lobby is very inviting. There is a computer with high speed internet access that is available to guests free of charge. The hotel staff were very friendly and offered good tips on what to see and do in the area.

Great Hotel close to Ferries
Clean hotel in convenient location (across street) from arriving / departing ferries. Free internet service and friendly hotel staff. Close to main tourist street, but very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and offered a large selection of cold and warm food. Restaurant has a view of the harbor. Laundry available or self laundry mat available less than 20 feet away.
