The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean, the staff is amicable, the breakfast is great. A couple of times I stayed for the dinner at the hotel, both times it was a a nice experience, lot of variety, nice price and very tasty greek dishes. The hotel is in a walking distance to many shops and to the old town. I will stay again in this hotel.

Despite the Hotel telling us we did not have a booking (maybe new staff) and they did not know anything about [Website], they did make a call to [Website] and from then on everything was good. Nice pool and hot spa and a comfortable large lounge area for relaxing. Close to Old Town and Port for sight seeing and to pick up boat trips to other close Islands. Regular bus to/from Airport and daily travelling to east coast or west coast of the Island, within walking distance of Hotel. Good restaurant and a couple of blocks from the beach and plenty of other restaurants.

This was a reasonably priced, excellent place about halfway between the airport and the main attractions in Rodos on the island of Rhodes in Greece. The family run hotel offers outstanding service in a not too huge facility. The pool is nice, several outside eating/relaxing areas are set up in the front and back of the hotel. The rooms are rather basic, but very clean, fair size, and have a kitchenette. Taxi and bus service are readily available and recommended (vs. renting a car). The staff is fantastic. My stay was driven by a family medical emergency where my mother was hospitalized on the island. These folks pulled out all of the stops to make sure I had whatever I needed and whenever I needed it. They were great - and everyone spoke fluent English - and probably several other languages (this was a major help to me since I couldn't speak any Greek and didn't have the preparation time ahead of the reservation to learn any). If I ever get to Rhodes again, I'll stay here.

Had a great time here, though it was very windy so even if the hotel was pretty good I would instead recommend others to stay on the other side of the island which is not as windy.

lovely hotel with great views of the sea. room and service were fantastic with excellent entertainment and facilities. Breakfast was brilliant although dinner was a bit basic.

j'y ai passé un séjour il y a 4 ans et j'ai été déçue par le côté impersonnel et sans aucun accueil personnalisé. Au point que je passais mes journées au bord de la piscine d'un hôtel voisin (4 OU 5 ETOILES) que je connaissais aussi, et j'y ai trouvé un accueil chaleureuX....

Great hotel. Poor service

Great Hotel. Nice location. However, very poor housekeeping staff! Our room was never done on time, the maids only cleaned our room following our disappointed comments and our threats to call the front desk. At that point they forcefully and without displaying any interest in doing it, left some towels and placed two chocolates in my hands. This for them was "making my room".
No minibar. No room service.
The front desk was also not as professional, as only one concierge spoke Italian and was kind. All the others were rude and not available to give directions. They also could not give us suggestions about tours of the island.
Overall: good hotel but with much lower than expected service (motel 8 kind of service).
I definitely would spend again the money to stay there.

The food was great, the pool while crowded was relaxing and the pool service was excellent. The room was adequate however didn't spend much time inside!! Getting to town on the bus was easy and I loved the nightly entertainment. Great Stay!!

One of Rhodes hotels, hotel Silvia is open all year round. It is situated very close to the medieval town of Rhodes - Greece and only 800 m away from mandraki harbor. Hotel Silvia is c category and has recently been renovated. It has 42 cozy rooms on four floors. All the rooms have private bathrooms, balcony, telephone, TV, refrigerator and air - conditioning. Most of the rooms have a wonderful view to medieval town. After a delicious buffet breakfast, served daily, guests can walk to the old town of Rhodes or mandraki - the heart of Rhodes town - where they can find several shops, banks, restaurants, cafeterias, etc. Hotel Silvia is a 2 star hotel and has recently been renovated. It has 42 cozy rooms on four floors. All the rooms have private bathrooms, balcony, telephone, TV, refrigerator and air - conditioning. Most of the rooms have a wonderful view to medieval town. Reception lobby for the tv fans there is a big satellite tv! Breakfast area a delicious buffet breakfast, served daily bar you can relax and enjoy a range of drinks at the hotels pergola, the living room or at the bar which is open all day. Cosmopolitan is a fine property that combines luxurious surroundings, fantastic facilities and a quality seafront together with proximity to Rhodes town and its sights, The property has been recently renovated to a higher standard than before, and the level of services has also been redefined. Highly recommended for a superior quality stay near Rhodes town (12/09 EP) The 5 storey building is rests among palm trees and green shrub landscaped gardens, and the large main pool in front is a focal point of the complex. Further into the gardens, the guests can find the bungalow and tennis court area. Located in cosmopolitan Ixia, a short drive from Rhodes town, the hotel is surrounded by lush gardens in a privileged location near the famous beach. The town and its major attractions are within easy reach.

This was an all inclusive but there was only one barman to serve a full hotel so long queues for local drinks. Rooms basic and overcrowded in public areas, Food like a canteen. Been to much better places. The entertainment round the pool area was noisy and childish. In the hotel lounge lack of seats and only eurosport on the lounge TV. Old bedroom TV's mainly for Germans.
I felt sorry for the staff as they worked hard. The beach nearby was rubbish and it was much nicer elsewhere. Prices for other drinks expensive. `plus point was that only a few miles to Rhodes town which is lovely.
