Margarita hotel is located at Firostefani, one of the most beautiful spots in Santorini Island. Just in front of the hotel begins the road that leads to Caldera. Margarita hotel offers its guests traditional Santorinian hospitality, in order to make their holidays unforgettable. The hotel consists of 20 rooms with private bathroom, fridge, air condition, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and traditional built in beds. Each room has it's own balcony with view to the sunrise and can accommodate two or three persons. Margarita hotel has two swimming pools, one is for children, and a pool bar where you can enjoy your drinks. Also the hotel offers spacious parking spot. There is a 15-person mini-bus at the hotel for the transportations. The hotel also offers car and motorbike hiring. The hotel also has a 33-person luxury bus, that can be organized for sightseeing tours around the island and the volcano. Free transfer from/to the airport or port upon request. The hotel also offers free wireless Internet in the cafe.

Not so great experience

The hotel we stayed was not the one we booked but at least the location is better and the room we stayed has a fabulous sea view! The owner of the hotels tried to put all the guests in one hotel because it was an off season for the island. The problem is the room is very small, the toilet cover was broken. In the first morning we got up, to our surprise there were no water, we found out the water tank for the house was out of water so we had to wait for a while for the water to come. The staff was very nice but did not speak much English so it was hard to ask for anything.

Needs maintenance badly. Only

Needs maintenance badly. Only just getting ready for the season in April so maybe things like broken doors will be fixed. An easy walk to the town centre when you find the back lane ways. Quiet and attractive building.
