Nice new rooms - bit far from town but got everything you need, leisure, golf, restaurant.

Difficile de noter le service qui est agréable mais on sent qu'il y a beaucoup de mouvements dans le personnel. D'autre part, une seule serviette pour 2 personnes étonnant. Dernière chose, il est regrettable qu'il n'ait pas été précisé que l'hotel était en travaux pour ce qui concerne la salle de sport et la piscine.

Description
This is a very good quality hotel offering excellent value for money. A beautiful pool with sun trap bathing area. A well recommended hotel, especially suited for families or those who want to enjoy the unspoilt beach and country side - yet still close enough to the town centre with only a 15 minute drive. The local bus passes the hotel on a regular basis with direct routes to town or alternatively, a scenic tourist route around the island. (DB 04/09) A purpose built large 2 story hotel overlooking the beach. This is one the more recently built of all Guernsey's hotels and is ideally situated on a sandy beach on the north-west coast of the Island.

Description
There is a lovely outdoor heated pool on a veritable sun trap and the large sun terrace is the ideal place to relax, food & drinks are also served in this area. The hotel is also very close to the Guernsey Beau Sejour sports and leisure centre. Activities here include: indoor tennis, outdoor tennis, squash, a gym, bowls, large indoor pool, health suite, a theatre and even cinema. The adjoining sun terrace overlooks the beautiful Candie Gardens and St. Peter Port and the green and pleasant expanse of Cambridge Park is opposite the hotel front doors. (DB 04/09) A purpost built 2 story white washed hotel. The Duke of Richmond Hotel is perfectly located in the capital town of St. Peter Port overlooking a quiet park, St. Peter Port marinas, the neighbouring Channel Islands and a short walk to the town center and shopping areas.

We travel to Guernsey every other year on business/leisure. Usually we stay at the Grange Lodge. The Duke of Richmond was a slightly better location but far too expensive for the quality of decor. The hotel needs major redecoration.
