Had a pleasant stay at the City
Had a pleasant stay at the City Garden. Clean room and linens. Although i'm not fond of carpets in a hotel room, at least housekeeping came everyday to vacuum. Fortress Hill MTR, tram stop and bus stop is one short block away making it a convenient place to stay in. Lots of food shops and bakeries around. 7-Eleven, Parkson and Wellcome are all within walking distance.

I saw few bad reviews and I hesitated to book. I was very surprised to find very good hotel with polite and effective team. Hotel has very good locatioin and facilities are good (did not try the dining room)

I have a pleasant stay at City
I have a pleasant stay at City Garden Hotel for 5 nights. The room is spacious and comfortable. It is cleaned everyday. The room was provided with free wi-fi facility which i felt that it is very convenient for us to surf the internet anytime. In the hotel have few restaurants and a bar. Next to the hotel has a convenient store and alot of restaurants nearby. The MTR,tram and bus station are just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Highly recommended hotel, i will definitely stay here again for my next visit to Hong Kong.

The hotel was very clean and facilities
The hotel was very clean and facilities were excellent. Room sizes were excellent - particularly for Hong Kong. Staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Only two complaints really : our requests on the HotelClub booking form don't seem to have been passed on to the hotel as we were placed on a smoking floor when we requested non-smoking and we didn't have the interconnecting rooms we requested. Also there was a lack of information on the hotel in the rooms which would have been very helpful - especially when language is an issue.

The Hotel is strtegically located at North Point Hong Kong Island. The Price is very affordable and the staff are also kind. We did have a great time there.

comfortable bedding. Sufficient amenities provided including welcome drink and fruits, sandals, toothpaste, comb and two complimentary drinking water each day of stay. Under 3minutes walk from airport bus(A11) #18 bus stop -HKD40 from HKIA. Taxi from HKIA will be around HKD300. Provides complimentary shuttle bus to Times Square in Causeway Bay. About 4minutes walk to Fortress Hill station. Next to this station is supermarket-Wellcome and Mannings-for last minutes toiletries, OTC medications. In front of Mannings is also bus stop for A11 going back to HKIA. Plenty of outside eateries for selection; a convenience store-7-11 is just next to hotel main entrance. Under 3minutes walk to tram station ; taking the one with flat fare of HKD2 going towards Happy Valley will take you to Causeway Bay area;and taking the one going to Western Market or Kennedy Town will take you to Wanchai area. Highly recommended for strategic location and value for money.

Actually very close to Fortress
Actually very close to Fortress Hill subway station although the address is North Point. Breakfast buffet good. Admiral's bar is very nice with live entertainers. They have even loyalty program.

Overall, the stay was as expected,
Overall, the stay was as expected, with one big exception. This is probably the 8th time I stayed at City Garden Hotel, but this is the only time that I experienced loud neighbors. They have no manners, and do not stop talking in the corridor even when you politely request them to. If you encounter this kind of neighbor, just dial 6 on your phone and have the assistant manager send security to your floor.
