Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong

The lifts in the hotel are horrible. You can easily wait 5 mins and the lifts will not leave the floors they are on. I was on the ground floor, one lift was on 2 and the other was on 25. After waiting for about 5 mins, the lift from the 25th floor came down to the ground floor....just doesnt make any sense. The area is nice and quiet from busy Hong Kong. But the lifts are just a joke. The staff is a joke as well. The doorman picks who he opens the door for. My hands were full and he just looked at me.....not pleased

We picked this hotel because of the location. It's near time square. The lobby is way too small for people to chill and use wifi. Only few single sofas, and NO table for you to put your laptop on. If free-wifi is must, book somewhere else. The 5th floor breeze (mini balcony) is the area where you can get free coffee, smoke and free wifi. They only open from 7am - midnight. and only 6 tables. It should open 24hrs..... I would not book this hotel again!

Cosmo is a basic hotel, it's clean and comfortable, although my shower head needed repair when I moved into the room. The main issue I had was that it is out of the way from HK Island's MTR system which is the transport lifeline for the city. This was partly offset by taxis being plentiful at the location, even during busy periods I had no problem. (Obviously the taxi costs more than the MTR !) Staff very friendly and accommodating.

It was not very close to the MTR station so we had to take a cab everywhere. the room was really small and so was the bathroom... it would have been better if they nixed the whole "living room" and "work desk" area... and made it just one big room. there was also no room service... which would have been nice. Being from another country, our sleep pattern was off, so we were left starving until breakfast. Breakfast buffet there is pretty terrible too. Thank goodness they atleast made eggs to order. The staff is super nice though. And the concierge is knowledgeable and always was able to help us.

You have to drag all your luggage to your room by yourself, nobody cares. The Nooch bar's food is so plain but expensive. The hotel is so far away from the nearest MTR especially when you have to carry heavy luggage. A shuttle bus service is very helpful but before I check in, I don't know where to get on it. The room is O.K. The bed is comfortable. It is very cool in the room even though I had turn off the air conditioner all the time.

The standard rooms are tiny especially if room is shared by 2 adults. Upgraded rooms are not much better. Hotel provided shuttle service to all nearby sights. Taxi service is inexpensive. Walking distance is OK but not so on hot humid days. Staff helpful and fluent in English.

The staff was great, the room was clean, the shuttle service was fantastic. The room was tiny, there was no restaurant for a single traveller (only a place for members only and a restaurant for the large chinese style group dining), and wifi was not included and the prices were misleading. I'd definitely go back, but not stay longer than a couple nights.

The queen size bed was actually 2 twin beds put together. Very rough to sleep in the middle of the bed. Elevators are very old and does not run on logic. I was on the 26th floor with an elevator sitting on the 25th and the other on the G floor. The G floor elevator came up while the 25th did not move. Happened a lot. The view of the cemetary was not very pleasent either.

A very comfortable and nice hotel. However, it is a bit far from the MTR station.

Hotel was very nice, friendly people, room small but very clean, computer in the room, good breakfast. Shuttle from airport to hotel and back was extremely efficient and low cost. Would stay there again.
