The Nut
Don't Do It!
The last night at 3 am the fire alarm went off repeatedly for about 30 minutes by which time myself and many other guests had tried calling the front desk (no answer) and going to the lobby to find out it was a false alarm and they did not know how to stop it. In the morning not a single employee including the front desk staff upon check out issued a single word of apology. The beds are hard, rooms small and they want to charge you for everything and they want to charge 5 star prices. Laundry HKD$83 to wash 1 pair of jeans, internet per device HKD$130 and if you connect wirelessly then use the cable or vice versa you will be charged twice unless you call and argue with the front desk. This is a 3 star tourist group hotel at best and if you decide to stay I suggest you use your smart phone as a hotspot, walk outside for breakfast and there are a couple laundry shops just a block away.

Nice Hotel but no Free internet!
The room was comfortable but the hair dryer should have been in the bathroom and not in desk drawer. The adapter provided in the room did not work because most products made for USA have one prong wider than the other and the adapter’s openings were the same size. This was my first time in Hong Kong and I would have preferred to stay in the central area. This way I can access the room to rest during the day while touring around.

This was the second time that
This was the second time that I've stayed at the Harbour Plaza and again was happy with my stay. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, decor is a little dated, but still nice. Good facilities, with restaurant, bar, gym and swimming pool. A big hotel so you don't get the level of personal service you would get at a smaller hotel, but the reception and conceirge staff are very helpful and friendly. Convenient location, 1 minute walk to the Quarry Bay MTR station and a few places to eat nearby, including a Cafe De Coral and Wellcome supermarket on the way to the MTR. One stop away from the Tai Koo shopping mall and 10 minutes to Causeway Bay. Would definitely stay with them again, highly recommended.

A quiet place and just 1 min to MTR station. Fast food restaurant and 7-eleven nearby. Swimming pool is nice and clean too. But this hotel should consider to provide free internet access.
