OK but small
You can not see the hotel from Nathan Road. It is down a side street. The rooms are really small but clean with the exception of the coffee pot...was full of old tea/coffee grounds that were left from the previous occupant and were not cleaned out while I was there (2 nights). Bathroom is very small, hot water heater must be turned on and left for twenty minutes to get a bit of hot water... water turned cool after about 20 seconds. The location is good for catching buses and subway. Walls are thin and can hear everything going on around you so bring ear plugs.

TINY room, No window
Great location for Mong Kok access. Near Langham Place, etc. BUT the room was the smallest I've ever stayed in, even smaller than the smallest in Tokyo. No room to open suitcase and open the door at the same time. In bathroom no room to take a shower except over the toilet or the tiny sink. BUT the place is clean and staff are nice. So for the price I guess I can't complain too loudly. Just be aware of what you're booking so you won't be shocked/disappointed as I was.

hostel in disguise
I have been to HK several times in the past. I'm not very spoiled and have stayed at the hostels in the mirador/chnunking mansions in the past. The MK hotel is a bit more expensive then those, and the lobby and the building are nicer, but the rooms are very similar. They are really tiny and noisy and very uncomfortable. In the summer heat it was very hard to get a good night's sleep there. If you are on the budget you might as well go to the Mirador mansion and pay a 3rd of the price. If you have a bit more money I'd suggest getting a proper hotel and enjoying HK properly. My 2 c.

Pretty good for a half self-service
Pretty good for a half self-service hotel. Location is pretty good, near the hottest area in Mong-kok. It is acceptable selection for anyone who want shopping near Nathan Road.

The hotel building looks new but
The hotel building looks new but upon entering the room, the toilet proved to be otherwise. The room is rather small and the toilet is a narrow "walk-in" style. The cleanness of the room is good and the room's decorations is neat and simple. However the rooms have poor sound proofing. This will pose a problem if your neighbouring room comes back later than you. The sound of running water from the next room's toilet is loud and it is disruptive to sleep if the person keeps the water running for a period of time. Location wise it is near to Mong Kok MTR station with the busy ladies street, electronic stores (Sim City, Sino Centre, Broadway, Fortress) and also Langham Place shopping mall.

Walking distance from Mongkok
Walking distance from Mongkok MTR, Nathan Road and Ladies Market. For Muslims, there is a Halal restaurant right behind Hotel MK. Staff can speak English, efficient but unfriendly. For small-size ppl, the room is 'just nice' for them to sleep in. No wardrobe, fridge, safe box and barely space to put your luggage. Chinese shows mainly on the TV but at night, there are American shows/news. The available WiFi in the room was very poor. The best place where WiFi was good was at the hotel lobby. Do not assume that double-single bed will make one queen-sized bed. The double-single bed looks like a super single, but shorter bed. The toilet is super-small it is clean though it looks old. Our room is the first from the lift. We can hear noisy neighbours passing by our room. If you need a budget room and simply a place to sleep safely yet accessible to everywhere and everything, I would recommend this hotel.

Location is excellent, the staff
Location is excellent, the staff is really friendly and helpful, Convenience for food and shopping. Room is very clean but small, luckly I manage to get a street view room so it wasn't feel that bad. I have to put my Luggage under the bed in order for me to move around. Many review said the wifi only available at lobby but i think they have upgraded it, because i can access wifi from my room (3rd floor).

A normal rooms are small, have
A normal rooms are small, have space only for the bad and 2 luggages, and a bathroom are also small. But, the location is ideal for transfer passengers in HKG, in the center of vibrant chinese district (one block from the main shopping street, 3 min walk from metro stations), only 35 minutes public bus ride from the airport. Bus station is one block from the hotel - ask the receptionist. Finally, the price is cheap, the hotel is clean and they offering free wifi. Absolutely recommended for one or 2 nights stay.
