Business hotel
Very good location in Causeway Bay. Staff very good and professional, but apart from Concierge, a little impersonal. The Concierge people were very good. Public areas are very nice but lack atmosphere, which is a pity. Traffic noise seemed louder than in other hotels in HK. Very good internet service.

Larger rooms than usual
Nice feature of offering room upgrades to suites for only 588HKD per night. However the club lounge for suites is terrible because the hours are exactly the times one would be out shopping and eating dinner. Also there is no kitchen so breakfasts are just breads and cold cuts. That being said everything else is wonderful, especially the vast free library of movies.

Cannot be faulted - great rooms, everything you could possibly need and great friendly service. Alo excellent value - we will never stay anywhere else in HKG!

The name "Lanson Place Hotel"
The name "Lanson Place Hotel" is really not familiar to us but we made a booking anyway just to try it. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into the hotel. The room was big, very clean, with a modern design and comfortable. My children enjoyed staying in the hotel. Location is perfect - close to shopping areas in Causeway Bay, near an MTR station, and most importantly for us, it is right across a Catholic church. We will definitely come back to this hotel when we visit Hong Kong again.

The Lanson Place Hotel is like a home away from home with very generous rooms for Hong Kong. However avoid Rugby Seven week as the prices go through the roof right across town.

Boutique Hotel
I was in Hong Kong for two days and needed a nice hotel to stay and relax after a busy week on the mainland. I found a beautifully decorated quiet hotel in a nice area.

Great place
Great experience at the hotel. I highly recommend it. The hotel is located about 3 blocks from the MTR station so getting around HKG is simple. The room was very nice, trendy, with lots of little touches to impress the guests. The gym was nice but only had about 7 pieces of equipment. I did not try breakfast as i had to leave the hotel early in the morning. Having stayed at almost all the high end and trendy hotels in Hong Kong, I think this may be my new favorite. It isnt the trendiest, nor the most expensive, nor the plushest, but it felt right to me. Room was great, service was great, price was great...you get the point!
