Metropark Hotel Wanchai Hong Kong

The hotel was great and close to Wan Chai. The only thing that bothered me was there was no wireless internet in the room, only in the restaurant for 60 HKD. I guess nothing is "free" in HK. Overall great place though.

We lived in HK in the late 90's and this was our first return. We knew the area we wanted to stay and this hotel filled the bill perfectly. Lots of places to eat nearby, hotel Le Chef eatery was first class! Every kind of transportation was nearby, and we used them all, bus, tram, underground etc. Highly recommend the hotel. I regularly stay overnight in HK but have never stayed here previously. The room and the location were excellent, certainly would consider staying there again subject to price.

The hotel was ideally situated for sightseeing on Hong Kong Island and with Star ferry terminal to Kowloon within 5 minute walk. Although the rooms were small but had all the facilities you needed and very clean. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Value for money and would definitely use again.

Excellent location for the MTR.Staff very helpful 1st room rather small not enough room to to open your suitcase on the floor, had to use the twin bed 2nd room was on the ladies floor. floor allocated for women only. Very nice room, was bigger Breakfast was good

Convenient to MTR and tram, and the market nearby, which operates in the morning, is an interesting place to walk around.

I stay at this Hotel regularly as it's close to the convention centre. The rooms are always clean and the staff and service very good. The executive rooms are good, with a great wet room style bathroom, and are a good size. I've also stayed in a family room, small double and a single bed..room is small but fine particularly if single occupancy, and a standard room. I've no complaints about any of the rooms I've stayed in and am always happy to return to this hotel. A couple of things to be aware of, the location (Wanchai) is noisy, because of all the night life, some of the rooms at the front of the hotel can be noisy, at the back of the hotel this is less of a problem. The internet is far too expensive at HK$120/day. Better to spend HK$20 on a PCCW card from the 7/11 and sit in the Pacific coffee shop around the corner, and use their WiFi.
