Dining
- Lobby Lounge
- For exotic drinks and easy relaxation, look no further than Hotel Nikko Hongkong's Lobby Lounge. A convivial atmosphere reigns in this chic, elevated space, fashioned in a delicate cross-over of Art Deco and original styles. Sweeping glass panels, cosy armchairs and plump sofas, all bathed in beautiful sunshine by day and soft purple lighting by night, make the Lobby Lounge a singularly wonderful place to unwind over a light meal, refreshment or dessert by one of our award-winning pastry chefs.
- Cafe Serena
- Variety and value are the order of the day at Caf?Serena, one of Hotel Nikko Hongkong's most popular dining outlets. Combining the best of western and regional Asian dishes in a comprehensive a la carte menu, this refreshingly casual-style eatery - looking out on Victoria Harbour on the one side and the hotel's atrium lobby on the other - also serves a lavish buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a delightful selection of snacks from afternoon to late evening.
- Toh Lee
- Toh Lee is renowned amongst Hong Kong's discreet set as one of the territory's finest Chinese restaurants, having been conferred a Best of the Best Culinary Award by the Hong Kong Tourism Board. This celebrated establishment offers an elegant selection of Cantonese fare and dim sum that includes both traditional favourites and original creations. Seating a total of 180, the restaurant has five private rooms, of which four can be adjoined into a large function room for family or corporate gatherings.
- Sagano
- Taking its name and inspiration from a famous suburb of Kyoto, Japan's ancient heartland, Sagano offers authentic Japanese specialties from sushi and tempura to teppanyaki and kaiseki. It is also a favourite haunt of many Japanese residents in Hong Kong as well as Japanese guests at Hotel Nikko. Particularly noteworthy are the eatery's three tatami rooms with traditional bamboo flooring, two of which can be opened up to create a larger space for up to 16 persons. Here, dining is no longer just about food, it's a wholly cultural experience. Indeed, the restaurant's appeal lies not only in its superb culinary offerings, but equally in its exquisitely simple ambience reflecting the quiet dignity, beauty and serenity of the original Sagano.
- Les Celebrites
- Modelled on a classic French restaurant, Les Celebrites offers European-style gourmet cuisine in the manner of the latest Continental dining trends. Guests select their first course from a splendid buffet of hors d'oeuvres ; for entree, there is an a la carte menu boasting an extensive selection of gastronomic delights.
- Sky Lounge
- The Sky Lounge on the hotel's top floor welcomes guests for cocktails and 'cool inspiration' with a royal box view of the famous night-lights of Hong Kong. A clubroom elegance pervades this area and the ambience is relaxed and friendly, with upbeat modern music playing softly in the background.
Meeting facilities
- Meeting Info
- Whatever your requirements, we can tailor a first-rate event package for you, with all the precision and flexibility you need. Our magnificently illuminated, Manhattan-style Grand Ballroom - every bit as grand as its name denotes, thanks to its unique half-moon shape with no pillars whatsoever - can accommodate up to 450 people while our four-in-one Garden Room, which can be divided into individual function rooms, is suitable for 50 to 250 people. Our four-plus-one Fountains Room series accommodates another 160 persons plus some 20 individuals in an independent room. Then there's Chairman's Place - for a truly deluxe-quality, intimate-scale function. A recent overhaul of these facilities means there's a new freshness and excitement to these venues!

great stay in Kowloon
I've lived in the area for the 5 years but this time I'm staying in Kowloon as a visitor. The location is great, close to Hung Hom MTR station (and the upcoming Whampoa one), which gets you to anywhere in HK. Also within walking distance to bars in Tsim Sha Tsui (or take a cab if you're too tired to walk back). I'd give it a 4.5 star for location if I could, the one drawback being no hotel shuttle to or from the Airport Express stations. However, you can easily get off at Kowloon station, then 1) take a cab. 2) take the free shuttle to Hung Hom area then walk here, or 3) walk to Austin MTR station then take the train to Hung Hom station, then walk here. Rooms are spacious in HK standard, very clean, and staff are all very friendly. Only complaint is that WiFi is not free, which might be normal in the States but not really the norm in HK. The new Hotel ICON one block away offers complementary WiFi, albeit the room rate is not as good as Nikko's.

Don't expect to get any sleep
Rooms getting remodeled, with construction workers using power tools at all hours. The hotel should close up while this is done, but they rent rooms right next to the ones under construction. Staff said since I got my room through Orbtz, there's nothing they can do. No refund, no discount, no nothing. So sorry never mind. Stay away from this one, at least until they're done remodeling.

Handy place for a short visit
Good experience overall. Good view of Victoria Harbor even though we were in one of the lower rooms. We were able to do a lot of shopping without undue walking or taxi rides. The free shuttle was a big help. Only negative, really, was shelling out $7 per page when having our boarding passes printed in the business center.

Orbitz price was fine. The staff sends you to the 14th floor to sell you the braekfast & upgrade option for $HK 400 + 10%. It is not worth it. The ICOM and Shangri La are better deals.

Short walk from Hung Hom train station. Convenient if you come from Guangzhou China via the train since the train originates and ends at Hung Hom station. There are other better hotels in the area for the value of a 4 or 5 star.
