Only During the Summer

The only thing you need to know about my experience is that I stayed at this hotel for one night in December and ended up sick because of it. Why? Because apparently none of the rooms at this hotel have a built-in heater. Only air-conditioners. Yeah, you read that right. It is very conveniently located via skybridge to the airport, and the convenience factor is huge. But if you're looking for comfort or quality, especially during the winter months, look elsewhere.

Can't beat the location when flying In-Out of HKG

Hotel never disappoints on convenience. Absolutely fantastic with access from Terminal 1 at HKG International Airport. Little pricy and seems strange they charge 100HKG for Internet on the already high room charge, and with excellent free wifi in the airport.

Wonderful hotel. The service is efficient Staff members are very polite and considerate. I asked for a delayed check out because of a late flight and they gave me 4 hours with no extra pay. The location is superb and to my surprise there was no airplanes noise. My experience was great and I will certainly visit this hotel again.

Good location for a sleep while going on

Location was great for a sleep over mid transit to Jakarta. Essentially it was a bed and a breakfast at that cost $300, which is too much but was worth it anyway. The included breakfast was very good, smoked salmon and croissant go over well with me. If a similar hotel was on site and provided just a clean bed and a breakfast at a lower rate I would go for that instead.

Dining tip: In Hotel

If you are unsure of where and what to eat, eat at the hotel bar and do appetizers. The best flavors are usually found in the finger foods and bar tenders are pretty good at telling you what is going on and what is good to eat.

Luxurious hotel with all the trimmings.

I stayed at the Regal Hotel Airport Hong Kong for one night. I was in Hong Kong for 3 days, however, I was suppose to meet up with my friend the next day who was flying in to Hong Kong. I decided that me staying near the airport would be logistically easier in meeting with my friend. The hotel is very nice. Very clean in every sense of the word. The hotel is literially connected to the airport via a walk way in terminal 1/arrival hall A, right behind the Starbucks. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Service was fast. How fast? My room was on the 11th floor, which requires an elevator ride to the 10th floor and then a short escalator ride to the 11th floor. I had a problem with the bath tub in my room and went down to the front desk seeking assistance. By the time I went back to my room there was a hotel staff already waiting outside my room. Fast. The room was very spacious, with a king size bed, a bench, small couch, office table, and flat screen tv. The room also featured a safe located in the closet to keep your valuables safe. The bathroom featured a telephone and a speaker that plays anything coming from the tv. Now the negative. The hotel is far from the heart of Hong Kong. At least a 15 - 20 minutes MTR train ride to Kowloon station. Longer if traveling by bus or taxi. It's pretty close to Disneyland Hong Kong or to Lantau island, so I guess if those were the main attractions on your Hong Kong trip than this hotel would do nicely. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to travelers who need to stay close to the airport. Everything is convenient. Like stated previously the hotel is connected to the airport, which has restaurants, a 7-11, and banks. If you are looking to do some traveling in the Tsim Sha Tsui area, then I wouldn't recommend this hotel given the location, but either way your stay at the Regal Hotel airport Hong Kong will be a relaxing one.

If you are staying in Hong Kong for a few days, I definitely recommend getting the MTR Airport Express pass. It comes in either 1 or 2 trips to/from the airport and unlimited use on the MTR subway station for 3 days.

Hong Kong Regal Airport Hotel

I stayed at the Regal Airport hotel for one night to catch a morning fight the next day. The check in process took way too long as well as check out, which makes one nervous when catching a flight. The room was noisy. I could hear my neighbors as well as the people on the next floor!
