We were almost happy about the hotel, the only serious minus was lack of free wifi in rooms. 4* hotel with no free wifi! Otherwise it is comfortable, clean, big rooms (!), nice staff.

Great staff, very clean and well maintained. easy access to restaraunts and nice walks by the river. only negative possibly is that the location is not near any point of interest but we were trying to do sightseeing. If you don't care about this, its a great place and very reasonably priced for HK

Regal Riverside Hotel visit
Checked-in a non-smoking guest room with heavy smoke odor. First, Hotel staff offered air-freshner to cover the odor; got our room changed until we complained headache! Visited swimming pool and pool changing room. Swimming pool shows green algate on the pool side. Changing room shower area shows mild dew or mold on the walls and curtains. These areas need to be improved. Location is excellent, easy access to other transportation. Staffs are curtious and helpful. Will consider return and check for imporvement!

Regal Riverside Hotel, Hong Kong
Arrival information was lacking: From the general arrival area.. we walked the full length of the arrival area before finding the hotel booth and had to walk again the full arrival area to the oppisite end for the shuttle pickup point at the Airport Regal Hotel. Simple instruction like 'go directly to the Hotel for shuttle pickup' would have saved all this walking. The room rate should have included a breakfast meal but there is no coffeeshop and only a breakfast buffet at 168HK per person. No complaints on the hotel and staff which was great. A good location to be at for a short stay.

Good for Short Biz Trip or Out of Town location.
Overall experience was fine. One little issue, they should work on the internet charges, as it is a bit on the high side! I had no problem with the hotel staff, they are all friendly.

The hotel is located very near New Town Shatin Shopping Mall accross the river, approx 1.5KM walk. A good walk during normal season, not during summer, I guess. There is a nice walkway which takes you all the way there, but signage could be improved. I have to do a bit of trial & error to find it. The tip is, see how the locals walk around, and follow them.

The hotel is very far from the city center and the subway. The shuttle is no accessible as soon as we want (1 each 90 minutes for city center with at least a stop to their other hotel) No more than a 3 stars : old bathroom, old carpet, old furniture, no double glazing (lot of noise from the street,...)and to expensive
