The Kowloon Hotel

I had problems getting connected, signal too low, a technician came right away and fixed the problem, the entire staff was very efficient, food great and very quiet place to stay at right in the middle of the city.

The Kowloon hotel was very comfortable,the room seemed small for two person. The location was very good--it was really 5 minutes walk to the shopping malls amd the subways.

The Kowloon Hotel stay was a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I especially appreciated the fluffy towels and pillows. Also,we enjoyed the tours that were offered through the Hotel. Before arriving in Hong Kong we had a few people speak negative about the size of the hotel rooms. Nevertheless, we were not swayed with the negative comments. Personally it was just fine for us. We would definitely stay there again. The location was great. Our Hong Kong trip was lovely. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a perfect location for shopping, touring and restaurants. I was lucky enough to have a corner room and able to se the harbour with its evening light show that is magical.

Great hotel, centrally located just behind the Penninsula Hotel. Very helpful staff throughout my stay. Hotel is located 100 feet from the MTR entrance. Comes in handy in bad weather. A great value for a great hotel. The only negative is a HK$ 120 per day charge for high speed internet.

The Kowloon Hotel was comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The room was small but managable if you are there as a single. The view from the room was a city view. If you want a big spaceous room with a view of the water or city skyline, try the Pennisula Hotel next door....but be prepared to pay considerably more. The beds were comfortable and the desk area great for watching tv or surfing the internet. The bathroom was again small but clean and managable. There was adequate space for hanging clothes. The front dest staff were friendly and helpful. The best thing about the Kowloon Hotel, besides the price, is the location. The Star Ferry terminal is about a 4 minute walk away. A subway entrance is located to the right of the hotel entrance. From this entrance, you can walk underground to catch the MTR or the KCR very easily and comfortably. Everything underground is clean, airconditioned, and traffic free. Walking underground is a great way to walk from Tsim Sha Tsui to Tsim Sha Tsui East and escape the heat, rain, and traffic congestion. Many of the major sights are within easy walking distance of the hotel or the MTR stops. If you like running or walking, the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is nearby, next to the water. From the Promenade, the views of Hong Kong city are fabulous.

The location was central to the things I needed. The Star Ferrys, the subway, the port and shopping malls. All were within a few blocks of the Hotel. The breakfast buffet was awesome. The rooms were a little small but were still very nice and clean. Booking local tours was no problem because of the helpful staff. I was disappointed at the price I had to pay for an internet connection. I would stay here again.

Exellent location being near the Stary Ferry and other major shopping centres in TST.

Hotel checkin/checkout super efficient. Our room seemed & felt quite small. The floor in the corridor & lift area on our level felt uneven. Very convenient to the MTR, buses, close to Tsim Tsa Tsui waterfront, Star Ferry. Harbour City shopping mall minutes away. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
