Corinthia Hotel Budapest

Spacious , very clean room , comfortable bed and luxury bathroom in a gorgeous building. The spa is a true "royal" bath and never crowded. I can highly recommend this hotel based upon my previous stays. I have stayed at this hotel three times so far, never disappointed.

Here are a few highlights: helpful staff, fabulous location, and there is a spa! Make sure the try the bakery across the street from the hotel. The only negative that I can think of is that my postcards have yet to arrive even though I left them with the hotel staff 2 weeks ago.

Had a fantastic time at the Corintia Hotel in central Budapest, just 10-15 minutes from the river but 2-3 minutes from some great restaurants and music venues. Hotel facilities were 1st class - everything you could wish for.

Beautfiul public rooms, guest rooms. A wonderful spa. Great location in the center of everything--short walks to opera, restaurants, sights of interest. A historical landmark.

Great hotel in a good location to access all the sights. It was well worth paying more for the executive level and the lounge access provided a good range of food and free flowing alcohol (pink champagne was drunk by nearly everyone in there!). Hotel facilities excellent and the spa- sauna-Jacuzzi - steam room etc was lovely after a day on our feet walking around the sights. Travel round the city is easy with a good public transport system. The trams/metro were very easy to use and advise getting a 72hour ticket. Food in Hungary is OK but would have been restrictive if you are vegetarian or hanker after a good salad, perhaps we didn't chose the right restaurants for that. You can see most of the important sights in a 3 day trip. This was the second Corinthia hotel we have stayed in (the other was in Malta) and they live up to their good reputation, definately 5* +.

Beautifully restored historic hotel in perfect central Pesht location. Close to main transport routes. Excellent shopping and restaurants nearby. Lovely pool and spa facilities but --- very noisy despite ban on children in the pool area.

This hotel was lovely. My only problem with it was the distance of our room to the entrance of the hotel. I would have liked it to be much closer. The room was clean and nicely appointed. It was very quiet.

The room was excellent, the hotel was beautiful and the buffet breakfast was gigantic and tasty - This old hotel had a major renovation to return it to its prime of 100+ years ago when it was built - The renovation and the rooms are truly excellent - Minor point: get a new bedspread, terribly ugly for a luxury room - Staff was very pleasant and cooperative

Great service, beautiful lobby, room and pool/spa that was included in our stay (no extra charges)for the use of the sauna, steam or pools. Our room and bathroom were large and spotless. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again!

Finished a River Cruise and wanted one last night in Budapest; this hotel was a great way to relax and end our trip. Had to leave the boat by 9:30 a.m. and once over at the hotel, our room was ready in an hour. Hotel is beautiful, though outside is being renevated. Only a couple of blocks from the Octopus, local to subway and walking distance to many important attractions. Executive Level room was luxurious, personal concierge helpful, and free buffets and drinks a treat. They have their own taxi service and flat rate for airport. I would definitely stay here again.
