Opera Garden Hotel & Apartments

I was very happy with my stay at the Opera Garden Hotel. The location is perfect for getting around and to so many of the inner districts. The breakfast was hearty and the kitchenette in the room was well fitted out and very clean and tidy. The only drawbacks are that the Wellness Centre (Spa and Sauna) are not open between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm which is when we would have liked to have used it and the double bed has two single covers on it instead of one large which made it a little uncomfortable for us for sleeping.

The hotel was great! Staff helpfull and kind. Room was clean and quiet. Im definitely going back!

We had a great time at the hotel. The breakfast was abundant, the staff very helpful, some surprice sangria at the entrance. The only thing I disliked was the smell entering the room - but at old buildings there is nothing to do about it... We would definitively stay again!

We really loved the location - on a pedestrian street near the opera. It is within walking distance to all major attractions. The street has many hip bars and restaurants, but is not noisy. The hotel was in excellent condition and the staff helpful. Breakfast was ok. We may have been lucky - our room was looking out on the street. Some of the rooms are facing the backyard where there are external walkways and people can look into the room. I would not be happy with a room like this. We arrived on Thursday and had no problems but we heard that the hotel was overbooked for the next day. With these caveats, we highly recommend it.

GREAT LOCATION, great hotel, spacious room, nice and polite staff. Strongly reccomend and will stay there again for sure!!

We used the hotel as our base for exploring Budapest. It is well located and is about 5 minutes walk to two of the metro lines, the Opera and St. Stephen's Basilica. After being out all day, it was great that there were so many nice bars, restaurants and night life so close. The hotel has a nice hot tub and sauna. Rooms are very clean and modern. Hotel staff were always helpful and friendly, as well as knowledgeable about the area and the city. Additionally, for a well located nicely appointed 4 star hotel, we found the price to be very reasonable. Additionally, as this hotel is in a renovated Budapest building - it has more of an authentic feel than a standard hotel chain.

This is a gorgeous, modern hotel that we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was really nice and very helpful. The breakfast is plentiful and free. There's a little spa on the ground floor with a jacuzzi and two saunas; it was surprisingly nice and very clean.

Excellent location, close to Andrassy street and the Opera House. Hotel staff are brilliant, nothing is any trouble. Rooms are big, new and clean. Air-con is great - it was 43 degrees when we were there. Breakfast offers a large selection from fresh fruit, cereal, cheeses, meats, rolls, scrambled eggs and bacon. Loved this hotel and the staff.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location a block from Opera and Andrazy Ut. Nice breakfast buffet and good sauna/jacuzzi area. The fitness centre is only a treadmill and exercise bike but was a start. Several decent restaurants nearby.

Hotel was a great value with a good location. Just a few short blocks from the "Opera" metro stop. Opera is next to upscale shopping, but the street with the hotel is less affluent. The neighborhood changes quickly, but is safe. Room was a mini apartment with a complete kitchen and very modern. I would definitely stay there again.
