Dignified and imposing, Hotel Borg overlooks the beautiful square of Austurvllur, in the heart of Reykjavk, across from Althingi, the Icelandic parliament and the cathedral. The Borg, which has become one of Reykjaviks landmarks, is conveniently located within walking distance of variety of restaurants, businesses, souvenir shops, art galleries and specialty shops. The hotel's 56 rooms and suites, with Art Deco style throughout, are elegantly appointed yet offer an extensive array of modern amenities.

Ok but blocked my future wives

I stayed there for a night solo. Brought back two girls to my room late at night and they wouldn't let me bring both back!!! Talk about a block!!! Otherwise great hotel. Great value.

Amazing Hotel

The hotel was great. It was in a great location close to downtown. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Why would you want to stay anywhere else when you are in the middle of everything.

First Class all the way!

This was a great hotel. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean! It is in a great location right by the main street and walking distance to all the must dues in Reykjavik.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Start your night out further from the hotel and just walk your way back stoping in at the clubs and bars.

Unusual that breakfast wasn't

Unusual that breakfast wasn't included in the price, but apart from that, very nice hotel.
