I have stayed at two other hotels while traveling in Delhi and by far this had the friendliest and most efficient staff. I felt like from the moment I checked in until I checked out that I was cared for and had everything I needed, if only I were to ask. I was there for two weeks visiting friends and was consistently pleased with housekeeping, the front desk, the restaurants and the friendly and helpful doormen. Overall I would certainly choose this hotel for my next trip!

Great hotel experience

I was pleasantly surprised with the Lalit's amazing facility. From the minute I entered the lobby I regretted not being able to stay longer. The hotel has a superb energy flowing through it with a dynamic mix of guests.
The room was bright, with great details and features. The gym, spa and pool area were clean, modern and functional. The internet is over priced as is the the dinner buffet. The breakfast selection is vast but the taste is mediocre...as is the coffee.

I was initially supposed to stay in the Lalit end of October but due to an airline cancellation out of my control, I was not able to use the room on that date. The Lalit re-accomodated me, even though I had a no refund booking for two weeks later. My international flight scheduled for very early morning did not allow me to use the full nights booking, but the staff at the Lalit allowed me an early check in and I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent. The price is pretty high for the rooms, meals, the hotel car, and hotel charges for international phone calls. But considering when I arrived, there were two $200k plus Italian sports cars parked out front, I guess the prices are a bargain for some guests. Still a very nice property in Delhi.

Superb Lifelong experience...

This was our second time at this hotel and we always have had an absolute wonderful experience. we have stayed at other hotels in that area for the past 8 years, but will always come back to the Taj Palace. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is awesome!! They have variety of restaurants to choose from but wat i liked the best was their business center... I am planning my next business trip in march soon and cant wait to experience amenities at their business center.

I've seen enough hotels to know that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in... The Staff is very friendly, rooms are comfortable and overall, the service is excellent. I stayed in a club room (floor 6) and it was lovely.
Taj Palace in Delhi has Taj club designed for the corporate. I had room service which was good, and arrived quickly. I also ate in the Masala Art restaurant which was fabulous, in fact the best meal of my trip, better than the meal at The Leela Palace Hotel. The hotel staff is very polite and friendly.
I would Highly recommend it to every1 out there who want to spend nice time staying in Delhi and specially to those visiting on business propose.

Excellent convention hotel. 24 hour bank and good restaurants. Outstanding staff. Regular rooms are small. Club floor upgrade gives 5 star quality. Easy to arrange trips to Taj Mahal, rent car and driver for multi day excursions,etc. Airport pickup and return is simple. Room was$300/day. I`d stay there again if I needed to go to Delhi.

All was good except while at the pool I noticed some faeces (turd) on the tiled circulation area and the pool attendant walked past (very close) this several times without action!! I had to report it to reception in the end!!

TO/0408 A low-rise modern building with manicured gardens with seating areas in the front lawn and outdoor pool to the side of the hotel. Located in the city centre, just a few minutes from Connaught Place, the shopping area of Janpath and the famous India gate. This property has a secluded setting among beautiful landscaped gardens, blocking out the hustle of the city.

i went there on my honeymoon. Very nice clean hotel service is amazing. Buffet breakfast has lots of selection.
Room temp. Control doesn't work. It's little extra hot for us. We will book again in future and recommends to our friends.

The hotel has very nice rooms with comfortable beds. The grounds are also very attractive and there is a great selection of restaurants within the hotel. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to be of help. The location is also very good. I would stay there again.

Paradise in a confusing city

The hotel could not have been any more perfect. It was in the Citywalk Mall so everything you could need was an elevator ride away. For the adventuresome, cabs and tours were reasonable and you always had a 5 star retreat to end the trip. The hotel was immaculate and sanitary, breakfast was a TREAT and all the staff went above and beyond the call of duty. Would recommend over all hotels as it had kitchenette and private bedroom and living room, beautiful rooftop pool. Would not stay anywhere else. My THANKS!!!! to the management & staff.

I stay in Radisson hotel for a 3 nights during my business trip of Delhi. The hotel is on best location stand beside the highway and only 5 Kilometers away from Delhi International Airport. I was in deluxe room which was fully equipped with all the modern amenities. All hotel room was aesthetically designed with rich silk designer upholstery and linen in tastefully matched color combinations.The hotel staffs were very friendly and served in mannered way. The hotel restaurants offer some great kind of Indian and International cuisines. I had taste there North Indian food which was amazing. Overall this was fantastic trip and everything was well manages. I recommended this hotel for there services, friendly staffs and elegantly designed room. I had booked Radisson hotel through [@]

It was a "stay overnight" place.
Staff was very courteous. Rooms lacked the finish of a good hotel; they were clean but "not spotless". Restaurants were open after 11PM. It was nice to be able to have a late dinner after a 15-hr journey. Room rents were reasonable after the AAA deal. Airport ride was very prompt and the driver was very helpful and courteous.

I had to stop over a night in New Delhi IGI international airport, and I booked this hotel. The room is ladge and clean with all necessary amenities. But the internet did not work yet the staff were helpfut to let me use the business lounge computer and printer. If you just need hotel for an overnight stay, it is a good place.

The hotel room and facilities were quite acceptable, but what looked a good central location on a map turned out to be nowhere near to any interesting sites, useful restaurants or interesting shopping. OK for our overnight stay, but those staying longer should look elsewhere.

It has been about 10 years since I last visited New Delhi. So over the new year, I have invited my wife to join our special trip. Here are my reviews.
1. The room is clean.
2. The hotel is on an excellent location.
3. The services of most staff are O.K.
But WARNING: One staff in particular are trained to up-sell at "unreasonable" price. The day before my departure, I have asked for a going rate for a taxi to take us back from the hotel to an airport. He said it was "800 Rupees." But that rate is about X2 as much as what I have paid when I took my own transportation from the Airport to the hotel. So I waited. On the next day, after our morning trip, I went back to the same guy. The staff mentioned to me the going rate is now "1,800 Rupees." So I was very upset and said to him that his quoted rate is only "800 Rupees." "What is going on?," I said. Then other staff intervened. So he said it was going to be "800 Rupees." I said that we chose to come to the Radisson because we trusted that we would be SAFE and would not be "tricked." Then the other staff looked at him with some surprise and said that the price should be "500 Rupees" Well - that is what we have paid at the end, but I believe that without transparency, the staff may have an agenda of his own.

Location: It may be the std. in India but I was very surprised to find that the hotel is at the end of a dirt road that does not allow one to take a short stroll in the close vicinity of the hotel.
Facilities: The TV set was not functioning upon my arival due to: a. Remote control was not suitable to the TV in the room and the antenna connection was problematic. In addition, theselection of the English speaking channels was very poor, to say the least.

Everything is lovely at the Grand Godwin. The terrace is beautiful and comfortable for cocktails. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with a huge variety of foods to please everyone. Their Indian food was the best of any we had. Especially wonderful are the rooms and bathrooms. You will be well taken care of at the Grand Godwin

Rooms are small, food is way too expensive in restaurant, one way ride in hotel taxi was quoted as rs. 2000 plus tax, I opted for an air conditioned taxi instead and it came to under Rs. 800. They do not include free wifi either.
