Furama Villas & Spa Ubud Bali

We really enjoyed our stay at Furama in Ubud. We booked a very reasonable package that included full breakfast each day, free airport transfers both ways, one lunch or dinner voucher, and one free 30-minute Balinese massage in the spa. We really liked having our own private villa and private pool as well (the water was a bit too cold to spend much time in the pool, though). The staff was incredibly friendly (especially [...], our favorite), and largely very attentive. The only area of service we would want to improve is that in the restaurant/dining room. It often took a long time to get food (at the only restaurant on the property), and the menu choices were somewhat limited. The breakfast buffets were incredible - tons of fresh fruit, salad, and both Western and Balinese foods were available. Definitely our favorite meals.Since Furama is located about 20-30 minutes outside the Ubud city center, it's extremely quiet and relaxing. (Furama also runs extremely punctual shuttles to the city center several times a day, which we took advantage of.) Since it's so isolated, though, there aren't things to do on foot near the property.The roosters and cicadas are really loud at first, but you get used to them and start enjoying them! DVDs to borrow from the front desk if you don't want to watch TV. The free massage was somewhat lacking, but it was free, so we don't have much to complain about. :)

One word - fantastic!

We stayed in the Exclusive villa ( 2 adults, 1 12yr old), which was very spacious with outdoor lounge and large bathroom. Villa is connected to 75 m pool and sundeck. Hotel is a little far from Ubud (there is a free shuttle) but located in the middle of the rice fields, very quiet and simply beautiful.Service is excellent, attentive, friendly staff and although interior of villa is somewhat tired in few places it was very clean. There is a Spa (did not use, looked very nice), they have bicycles guests can use, good restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

Furama Villas and Spa is an amazing place to stay. A peaceful place in the middle of rice fields and only a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of UBUD. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. We will come back.

Gorgeous hotel. Right in the thick of Ubud - about 25-30mins car ride to Ubud market area where all the shops and restaurants are. Worth using the hotel's free shuttle service to get there and back. Used the spa - was nice. Stayed in the Deluxe Villa which has own private pool, large villa and gorgeous bathroom and massive bathtub! Also has an outdoor shower you can use. The villa is very private. Stayed 3nts, would stay longer. Had Breakfast included - was nice but same choice every morning, could have done with some variation. Would definitely recommend staying here.

請小心老鼠爬到床上，因為該VILLA的門有很大的縫隙，不幸就讓一隻老鼠跑進我們的房間，當時我們已經熄燈就寢，那時我忽然感覺到枕頭邊不對勁，張開眼發現有隻老鼠的黑影，大叫一聲，嚇得連忙叫櫃檯請人來抓老鼠，在眾人圍剿下，終於抓到這隻老鼠。抓到後，這些人說聲不起就離開了，之後兩天所有工作人員就完全沒再提起這事，連聲慰問也沒有。該飯店的設備也很有問題，許多設備都已經老舊，並沒有維修，比如泳池邊的躺椅的墊子，周圍已經明顯龜烈及發霉，但完全不見更換及改善，更別提VILLA的牆壁已經有壁癌及許多裂縫了。其位 偏遠，需搭SHUTTLE，幸好SHUTTLE還算準時，但SHUTTLE的司機會不斷地向你推銷行程。有些蚊蟲，但幸好有蚊帳。

市區接送準時，人員客氣，Villa乾淨整潔。但員工的殺虫觀念要改進。我可以忍受房問有些蚊虫，因為反正有蚊帳，所以睡覺時不會被打擾。但是飯店員工在客人尚在房間時為了清潔房問達到無虫境界，噴殺虫劑，對人身體不好。不是員工服務不好，而是飯店要教育員工，殺虫劑要在客人不在時先噴，不能在客人在時噴。就如水果要上市場前幾天就不該用農業一般。要注意改進。
