The charm of a boutique property combines with the convenience of a central location at The Vira Bali Hotel. Set back from the famous Jl Kartika Plaza in downtown Kuta, a short drive from the airport, this chic hotel is located a few minutes walk from Bali's iconic landmarks: the beachfront Discovery Shopping Mall, Kuta Square shopping arcade and markets, Waterbom Park and Hard Rock Cafe. Great shopping, dining and nightlife venues are on your doorstep, not to mention the magic of Bali's beaches. To soak up the tropical sun and experience the splendors of a Bali sunset, you can choose between the quiet and family-friendly South Kuta Beach just 100 meters away, or join the surfers at bustling Kuta Beach a few hundred meters along the sand. Amidst this vibrant area, The Vira Bali Hotel is an escape from the hustle and bustle outside. Opened in 2004 with 56 rooms and suites, it offers a cozy alternative to the much larger properties nearby. Six guests 56-83yrs, we all thoroughly

Six guests 56-83yrs, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Nice environment very clean, small hotel, all rooms look over pool area. Bathrooms a little small but met all needs. Limited sunny space & beds around the pool so if you like to spend a lot of time sunning probably not the place for you. Being a small hotel you soon meet all staff & they enjoy interacting with the guests. Will definately stay here again.

One of the best hotels to stay

One of the best hotels to stay in Bali. Rooms are spacious. Provide unlimited internet access but available only in their restaurant. Staff were very good and service oriented.

Arrived 1st night at 9pm, air-con

Arrived 1st night at 9pm, air-con in living room was not working (booked family suite for 5 nights.) The engineer took more than 1 hr to fix the problem. On 3rd day, after the family returned from morning swim, noticed that water pressure was very weak. Didn't bother complain because we were rushing to go out. On the last night, the water heater was not working when we returned at 9pm. Informed the operator & she told us to wait. No one replied. We asked again & they told us to wait for 2 more hrs. We told them that my young kids needed hot water to bathe after going out whole day and the rude receptionist replied there was nothing they could do. When requested to speak to Manager, they said we had to wait till next morning. A duty manager turned up at 11pm to apologise & offer another room for us to bathe. By then I had already used kettle to boil numerous times of water for my kids to bathe. Considered the amt that I paid, this is the worst hotel that I had ever experienced.

The hotel was excellent and highly

The hotel was excellent and highly recommended. The staff were exemplary, always smiling and willing to help with any unusual requests, such as me requesting my food be blended due to a medical condition. A very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

good experience overall

I was vacationing in Bali for the third time, and although the location was not ideal (ie. not close to the beach) the hotel staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The only thing missing that would have made the experience better was the smell in the bathroom. Sometimes the sink and bathtub did not drain the water quickly and left a smell. Just ok.

Take a taxi for the beach and nightlife. Too far to walk.
