The hotel offers warmth and intimacy of times past, with the style and luxury of a contemporary hotel. Ideal location for guests on business or pleasure. The hotel also hosts Escape Salon & Spa is Irelands first Aveda lifestyle Salon and Spa. With 9 treatment rooms, Vitality Suite, and relaxation room, Escape is a sanctuary of pure indulgence where time is left at the door. Car aprking is available nearby but is chargeable.(07/08rt) Designed by the architect Thomas Dean in 1813 the hotel has grand iron and stonework on the facade, there is a beautiful covered entrance. Located in the prestigious commercial district of South Mall, in the heart of Cork City, it has graced the city since 1813.

Regular hotel. Nothing exceptionally special. Make sure that you put up the " do not disturb " sign on the room as housekeeping will bang on your door at 8.30 even on a sunday morning.

old but clean hotel in the centre

old but clean hotel in the centre of town adjacent to shops, pubs and restaurants. hotel food good. also Jacques restaurant only around the corner very good.
