Nice place

The place was very nice and clean. Amenities were lacking what I expected. Towels must be short in Ireland as we only had a few. The bus to/from airport was very convient

Great airport location

We stayed here for one night before an early flight. The hotel's free shuttle was key. We took it to the airport just after checking in the day before we left town, and then took an airlink bus into town for the evening. Super easy and much cheaper than a taxi. The shuttle was also great for catching a really early flight the next morning. I believe this is the only Dublin airport hotel with a free 24-hour shuttle. We also had a large, comfortable room, and the Wi-Fi speed was great.

We got a Dublin Bus family day travel card for 10.50 Euro and took the airlink bus from the airport to O'Connell Street. Much cheaper than taking a taxi into town.

Close to Airport

Bewley's Hotel is close to the airport and a perfect for place to stay before a long trip back to the States. The rooms are basic, the beds are comfortable. The large lobby of the hotel is full of comfortable leather armchairs to relax in and chat with family members who have come to see you off. You can get a bite to eat in the lobby, the food and drink service is open until 2am. The coffee is lovely! SKIP eating in the Brasserie restaurant for dinner it is over priced and even though the wait staff are nice they are completely untrained. We had to ask three times for water and finally when it came, we only got two glasses for three of us. Every dish we ordered was missing an ingredient, dressing on the salad, cheese on the pasta, fennel on the "Fennel Bass Entree". The manager corrected the issue but he wasn't very apologetic which makes one think this is probably the best the service gets at the Brasserie Restaurant. The wait staff seemed more geared to a buffet style of service which is what the hotel offers for breakfast - full Irish breakfast. We skipped breakfast at the hotel as Dublin airport offers a great selection of places to eat and full Irish breakfast, before going through security and even after going through security. In short: Good Location Basic rooms Comfortable beds Skip the Brasserie Restaurant for dinner, eat in the lobby Great lobby to hang out with friends and family - open until 2am

Convenient stopover

We used this hotel as a convenient stopover on our way out of Ireland. It is enormous, economical, and popular. Everything is a la carte: parking, breakfast, computer access, etc. Seems to cater to park-and-fly customers. A smoke alarm sounded briefly in the middle of the night we were there and again next morning. Otherwise our one-might stay was comfortable.

Not to expensive room but the food is

The hotel is big and business oriented. It was clean and have enough room for 3 adults and a baby. We ate dinner and it was pretty good but expensive. The breakfast was not very good. The scramble eggs had too much water or something. But it is far from anything else so you have no choice. The hotel was very busy when we were there.

Bewleys at Dublin Airport

Nice hotel, thought by online book that it would have been more close to the airport. It was a good 3 or 4 miles down the road. Checkin was fine, food and bar service good. Although, no room service offered at this hotel. Checkout was a little lengthy as the staff was confused by the mastercard used by orbitz to book the hotel and kept asking me to confirm the mastercard. I told them I didn't have a master card. Shuttle to airport was fine, except it didn't drop you at terminal, shuttle parked and then you had to take your baggage all the way to the terminal yourself. Not a bad hotel, just would look for something different nextime.

Night before flying home

The parking is a bit of a mess -- entry is based on getting a card. This hotel does a major off-site airport parking business. We first circled outside parking and did not see a space near an entrace to hotel (we had lots of baggage to take in). We arrived at the exit and didn't have a validated parking card. Had to go inside to the parking desk where a very rude man was not helpful at all. Finally validated our card so we could enter again - this time we went below ground and found a good parking spot near the hotel lift. Hotel room was very nice. Other staff very helpful

Good pit stop

The shuttle to and from the airport was convenient. We were too tired to rent a car and go anywhere right away. So using the shuttle again in the morning after a good rest, getting a rental car and then starting our trip was great.

Ok for airport location

The room was clean and appointed average but the restaurant food was less than average and the noise level intolerable. Not sure I would recommend as I would not return.

ho hum

Just another ordinary standard hotel. Nothing remarkable to mention really. It was actually quite pricey for the same quality in the US. If you just need a place close to the airport with no frills, this works
