Great airport location

We stayed here for one night before an early flight. The hotel's free shuttle was key. We took it to the airport just after checking in the day before we left town, and then took an airlink bus into town for the evening. Super easy and much cheaper than a taxi. The shuttle was also great for catching a really early flight the next morning. I believe this is the only Dublin airport hotel with a free 24-hour shuttle. We also had a large, comfortable room, and the Wi-Fi speed was great.

We got a Dublin Bus family day travel card for 10.50 Euro and took the airlink bus from the airport to O'Connell Street. Much cheaper than taking a taxi into town.

Ok for airport location

The room was clean and appointed average but the restaurant food was less than average and the noise level intolerable. Not sure I would recommend as I would not return.

Nickel and Dime stuff

Checked in at 1:10 PM. They said my room was ready but their check-in time was 2:00. I could only get the room 50 minutes early if I paid them an extra 10 Euros. Otherwise, room was okay.

Bewley's Hotel Dublin Airport Review

We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the airport. We wish the hotel had a free shuttle to downtown Dublin. A taxi would have been our only alternative at 25 bucks on way. We had hoped to go into town for dinner the night before flying out the next morning but decided to eat in the restaurant. The restaurant staff was excellent but the food was very mediocre. The next time I wonder if it would make more sense to pay a little more and stay downtown the night before our flight out of the country. Most downtown hotels have free shuttle service to and from the airport which would have allowed us to enjoy the downtown area one more night without paying an additional $50 for a taxi ride back and forth to a hotel located near the airport.

Convenient travel hotel

We stayed here on our last night in Dublin for the proximity to the airport. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel lobby was bustling but service was still great. Note the parking lot gets very full but we managed to find a spot. The rooms were clean and nice, just lacking slightly in amenities like tissue paper. I would stay here again for the convenience and good service.

Check in

If you happen to arrive early you will be sitting in the front lobby until THEY let you check in. The front desk staff were more consumed with themselves than with their guests. The restaurant staff and house keeping staff were more than helpful, they were great.

Caveat Emptor

There was an unexpected €9.00 charge for parking. Much of the parking is sold to non-guests for airport parking. Only one size pillow is available. Otherwise it is good value.

Good pit stop

The shuttle to and from the airport was convenient. We were too tired to rent a car and go anywhere right away. So using the shuttle again in the morning after a good rest, getting a rental car and then starting our trip was great.

Nothing Special

Firstly, I think this hotel is more of a 3 star than a 4. The room was clean, there were 3 single beds for the 2 of us that were not overly comfortable, stains on the seat of one of the chairs (eewww), no face cloths in the bathroom (perhaps that just a North American expectation), had to call housekeeping to bring extra towels as there was only one bath towel (despite the fact that this room is obviously for 3 people or at the least, was booked for 2), bathroom functional but not fancy, not sound proof so we heard a lot of hall noise, and the outside of the hotel is so stark and unattractive. Also, it was not as close to the airport as expected. For the good points? The restaurant downstairs serves good food and the reception staff is pleasant and able to process many people in a short period of time. The shuttle to the airport is convenient and leaves about every 20 min. It is suitable for an overnight stay prior to flying out of the city/country but is really not worth the money or the star rating.

Bewley's Hotel Dublin Airport

Good hotel for rate. Rooms in back (row starting with 239, 339, etc) get a strong smell from the kitchen and had to move rooms. Line at front desk seemed consistently long. Front desk staff very inconsistent, some good some not.
