I go to Dublin quite regularly
I go to Dublin quite regularly and always stay at the Camden Court. The rooms, service and restarant are all great and the gym, pool, sauna and steam room top it off.

Great Hotel Location in Dublin
We went to Dublin for St. Patrick's Day weekend and we got a great deal at Camden Court Hotel. The hotel was beautiful and well located- we were able to walk to all the major sites and were really close to all the festivities/bars on St. Patricks day. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were pleased to find out that the hotel offered free overnight parking in the parking garage next door. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Dublin.

Definitely take advantage of the Hop On Hop Off bus in Dublin. It saves loads of time and you can really get to see a lot. The bus is inexpensive and is a guided tour in itself, and offers discounts on the major attractions. If you're a group of 4 or more, ask for a discount and they'll usually give you a family ticket or student tickets.

firstly the parking is free and the hotel is only 15 - 20 mins stroll into Stephens green. The staff were helpful and friendly making conversation with my 9 yr old not just me. The pool was great they had floats available for the kids and towels were provided. The hotel was spotless and the room was comfortable and clean and enough room for 2 adults and a 9yr old. Would use this hotel again when in Dublin

We visited during unusually cold
We visited during unusually cold conditions, so perhaps this is not usual, however the heating was so high that the room was uncomfortably hot. Heater on full, unable to adjust. Finally got moved to a room where the heating could be adjusted, shabby but functional. Location fine, breakfast OK. Its pool was clean and enjoyable to use.

Great value and very convenient location
We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of our trip, using Dublin as an overnight destination while traveling from Boston to Italy. The Camden Court is a very nice hotel, with all the facilities needed on a trip to this area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant served an excellent breakfast. And, the location was very convenient to the sites in Dublin; we used the "Hop-on Hop-off" bus to see the major sites in the city, only minutes away from the hotel. And, if you are staying at the Camden Court Hotel, make sure you get to spend an evening in the Bleeding Horse Pub, directly adjacent to the hotel...an absolute jewel! I rated this hotel as 4-stars only because this is the rating I would give to an equivalent hotel in the U.S., based on the normal expectations of U.S. travelers (and to give them an accurate expectation of this hotel). It is really quite nice! The only downside (if it actually a downside) is that it is about a 20-30 minutes taxi ride from the airport.
