Money-saving tip: In Hotel

I'm finding in Ireland it is always a better deal to book your room with breakfast included unless you really want to go OUT of the hotel for breakfast.

Just what we needed

We traveled to Dublin to participate in the Half Marathon. The start line was a very short walk down the road from the entrance to our Hotel. Perfect! The coffee place downstairs had good coffee for fair prices. Only issue was that the room was on the first floor and on the street corner. 24/7 vehicle and foot traffic. That wouldn't be bad if we could cool the room without opening the windows. I highly suggest the Hotel put a fan in the room so the windows can be closed to block out as much of the outside noise as possible.

Great choice, reasonable price for value

Good location - 10-15 minute scenic walk to center city (Trinity College area). Taxis are available, garage is attached if you have a car. Breakfast was good - not too many eating places close by. Center city has pubs and lunch places - bkfst best done in hotel. Clean and comfortable. We had a triple - one queen and one twin for a couple and a 12 y/o. Famine ship located 30 paces from the front door of the hotel.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Went to center city area both days / evenings we were in town. Able to go out, return to hotel, and walk back for dinner without issue. Of course, we had no rain, so it was easier.

Almost excellent but pillows were hard

Location was close enough to center of Dublin with less noise at night. Parking facility adjoins hotel. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Elevators were quick. Room was made up each day with new towels, breakfast had good selection, room has tea kettle, cups, tea, sugar, milk packets, etc. We had three in a room with no problems.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

A "Coffin Ship" replica is 100 paces from the hotel. A 15 minute walk gets you to Trinity College on the other side of the river and the center of activity in Dublin.

Family European Getaway

Decent hotel....good location. They stored our bags for us until, our room was ready. My husband, my two kids & myself had just flown in from New York & we were incredibly sleep deprived, and they did their best to accommodate us with an early check in. Nothing fancy about the room--just your typical European hotel room, but clean and comfortable.

Great family break in Dublin

We stayed in Jurys Custom house to attend a concert at Croke park and it was an ideal location. We parked in the carpark at the ifsc and got a great rate though the hotel. This is an ideal place to stay for exploring Dublin, the rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and kids ate for free. The reception staff were friendly and helpful in every way. We would def recommend this hotel and we will choose it again for our next break to dublin.

Good value for 3 adults in a room

Needing a room for 3 limited our options but Jury's Inn Custom House worked out fine. None better for. A few blocks from OConnell St., 15 minutes to Temple Bar - no sweat if the short walks don't bother you. Very nice Irish breakfast buffet. Staff was top notch.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Temple Bar restaurant/pub, located in Temple Bar section of town, is always busy and for good reason. Outstanding food menu, and the meals were genuinely good. Bar area has the best selection I have ever seen. Safe to bring kids, but not the place for a quiet chat.
