works well enough

Hard to really say too much about the hotel as I was only there to sleep, but it worked well enough for that. Room was clean, comfortable. A 5 minute walk to the Luas followed by a 45 minute ride on the Luas gets you to Dublin City Center, so if you are looking to save some money on a hotel and not stay in downtown Dublin its a nice enough alternative. Only downside is if you plan on staying out real late the last Luas back to Tallaght is 12:30 in the morning, so if you want to be out late and hitting pubs to last call you'd have to take a taxi back to the hotel (run ya about 20 Euros from city center)

Awesome Hotel

I requested a smoking room, but was given a non-smoking room. At first, the manager said I'd be charged and moved to a smoking room. I showed him proof of my request, and he apologized, let me stay in my room free of charge, and sent me a free bottle of their house wine. has an awesome gym, jacuzzi, pool. Staff is very hospitable, and room is great for the price. I got a balcony. Very good room for the price.

A great stay

Originally we went to Ireland to visit Dublin, and from the hotel about 40 min. by tram. The tram was very easy to use, but also a little extra expense. Overall the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The restaurant in the hotel was a little cold, both morning and night. I understand on saving heat, but dress warm. if you don't mind traveling to see attractions, it is a good idea. Also do not plan on taking a texi from the airport, it is a distance, but there is a bus that stops very near by.

In Ireland and from the U.S., save all your receipts and you can get you money that you spent on taxes (VAT tax) back at the airport. Thanks to a lady at the Jamenson tour, she gave us the insider tip at the end of our trip. Although it is only applicable for some receipts, some money is better than none

Great hotel that someone forgot

The hotel seems like someone said lets build a GREAT hotel and they did, and after it was done someones mom said "O your cousin bob needs a job put him in charge" and they did but Bob is lazy and doesnt care about anything, rooms are not kept as clean as they should, maintenance not kept up, no one keeps track of anything. MY room had lights hanging from cieling, clock was missing (no one replaced when I mentioned several times), needed a good scrub all over hotel, wardrobe was out of place, had a mouse in room. All simple fixable things that no one seemed to care about...its a shame would be good option if not for this. Its next to shopping mall for lil things you might need, near LUAS for EASY trips to dublin, and is far enough away from city its easy to drive out into the rest of ireland. One down side its near hospital, expect to hear many sirens as they go through intersection by hotel, its only for a few seconds but still.

just far enough from the city to enjoy the hills

At first I was worried about the location- but the hotel is very close to the LUAS that goes directly into the city. By taking the LUAS I got to observe the outer sub-burbs of Dublin. The ride to the hotel was beautiful because of the lovely countryside! The view from my balcony was a beautiful sight every morning! I will be back just because of the beautiful views!!

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Get a LUAS or Bus pass- The LUAS is just a short walk from the hotel and it is impossible to get lost on it. There are also many bus stops around the hotel to hop on too. There is also the flybus that goes directly to and from the airport to a stop close to the hotel.

Wonderful!

At first I was really scared because I thought this hotel was in the city center, and only once I arrived i found out its about half hour away! However there is a tram which they call the "Luas", which takes about 40 minutes to get into the city center. overall the hotel was great, wonderful price, hotel staff were really over and above nice. amazing pool, etc. I would def stay there again! Oh and we also had to go to the airport and there is a bus that comes and takes you directly to the airport it costs 9 euros and is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel lobby.
