Great first time to Ireland
Everyone was very friendly and helpfull. Our room did not have a view but we could go out the front door and watch the harbor. The Dart (a train) can take you right into Dublin in a matter of minutes and you catch it right at the Harbor. Shopping just a couple of min. walk away. This was a great first visit to Ireland.

Getaway for 2
Hotel is beautiful. Off season price thru Obitz was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. Upgrade to seaview if you can! 9 night stay. Beds are really comfy. Fridge in room is nice. Had one bad night - wind was 40 mph and piece of siding outside room rattled & sounded like a lawn mower outside our window all night. Also room would not heat up that night. We got no sleep that one night. Hotel was full and and staff was appologetic. They moved us the next day to an even more beautiful room. Close to train and to town. We really enjoyed our stay.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
We picked up a few meals from Mark's & Spencer close by to take back to our room. Plenty of freshly prepared, healthy items ready to eat. Also, we recommend the Sunshine Cafe.

Wonderful hotel, the best staff I've ever met
This was our first trip to Ireland and I can't think of a better place that we could have stayed. First off, the staff was excellent. They not only made sure out stay was comfortable but answered every question we could throw at them about what to see, bus/train routes and the best places to eat. The pool was top notch with lovely waterfalls coming out from the walls, a steam room, sauna and hot tub as well. Everything was extremely clean. Will stay here again when we come back!

Don't take a Taxi to the hotel, take the Air Link bus. It is 1/3 of the price.

One of your best choices
We had a 6 night stay at this hotel, arriving at the hotel was a small let down, due to the fact that the exterior could need some small updating. Once we checked in the lady at the front desk was very nice and gave us a free upgrade since we stayed almost one week. The first room we received I didn't like since in was across from a parking garage and every one could see anything w did. Also the internet was not working, I reported this and after a repair was unsuccessful, we had been relocated into a room on the same floor. This room was much better located and much more private. The rooms make a very nice impression, and the bathroom was very nice. The small balcony is a nice feature and was actually used quit often by me. The staff was very polite, professional, and helpful. There are 2 restaurants located on the first floor, one of which is very affordable, even when compared to the average restaurant located all around the city, The best feature to me is the actual location, the train station is less then 5 minutes away, and you cn go most anywhere from there.

Great Hotel in Dun Laoghaire
The hotel was very comfortable and handy to everything. The rooms very were very clean and up-to-date with nice bathrooms and comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and accommodating ( we wanted to watch the NFL playoffs from 1am to 430am local time in the lounge area by the bar as it was on a sports channel not available in room !) . The only thing I would criticize is the internet connection was slow in comparison to what I'm used to in any US hotel. But overall highly recommended.

Holiday from the cold
This was a fantastic hotel to stay at. It was close to the buses, the train, and the pier was only a 5 minute walk. There are many great shops and friendly pubs near-by. The staff was very courtious and very honest. The hotel was immaculate, the rooms cozy, and the food was great. We had 1 night when the lifts were not working and the staff went out of their way to accomodate us as best they could. This is like a home away from home for anyone taking children on a vacation. Will always book this hotel in future.

If you are wanting a great evening out, the Kozie 2 is onlt 6 minutes down the street. Great people there and wonderful food as well as entertainment. The pier is only a short walk right outside the door, and the scenery is beautiful. The People's park is less than ten minutes away and it is gorgeous.

Quality hotel just outside of the city
This was our launching off point for visiting Dublin. Hotel is a quick 15 minute ride on the train to downtown Dublin. Rooms were clean and well cared for. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast can be pricey, but quality of the food was very good. Would stay there again
