Great location, lovely hotel

Arrived early, and reception found us a great room immediately, and we were overlooking the Liffey. Had read other reviews and expected the hotel to be a shabby has-been, but it was well appointed, clean and contemporary with a good bar and helpful staff.

Great location, modern, but needs a bit of a renovation

This hotel is really great. It's like a W Hotel in Dublin. The location is very convenient. (But, with that said, Dublin is a walkable city, so a location a bit farther from Temple Bar would have been fine.) I did have the feeling that the furnishings in the home were a bit old. It would be good if they touched up the place. Besides that, I really enjoyed my stay there. I would recommend it to my friends.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

Don't hang out too much in Temple Bar. Ask the locals were the real pubs are. And, don't bother with fish n' chips. It's just a tasteless, greasy mess.
