Just ok.

Reception staff very pleasent, we booked a smoking executive room with balcony, when we arrived into room to find it was not a smoking room and no balcony. Phoned reception & receptionist came up to our room to escort us to another room at other side of hotel. Rooms were lovely and beds really comfortable. I had a bath 1st night & when emptying bath, bath was leaking and bathroom floor was soaking. Husband had a shower & it took shower 15 minutes to heat up. Next morning no hot water at all & we had to be moved to another room....which wasnot a smoking room and had no balcony. Bit annoyed that we had to pack everything up and move rooms!!! Ordered room service both mornings for breakfast...breakfast was just ok. not enough milk sent up for 2 cups of tea & 2 bowls of cereal. no butter for the toast. Had dinner in tribes restaurant, both of us had steak....steak was awful...over cooked & chewy!!!

The hotel was great for the price. I asked for a quiet room and received one even thought it was a Holiday.

It was all good

Very courteous staff. Bus in front of hotel would take you easily into the city center if you didn't have a car. Was nice to have the shopping center and grocery store across the street. We liked having the free wifi in the common areas but wish we could have had it in the room as well. We would stay again if back in Galway.

Great hotel

Excellent hotel, very cheap for the quality. Some oddly shaped rooms, but very comfortable for a non-pretentious couple. May be a bit far from center, but there's a bus right outside for 1.60 one way.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

Galway is beautiful! Hit the pubs, go for walks, do not waste your time in the hotel. However, the hotel restaurant is also great!

3 miles from city center

The hotel itself was very nice. We had a car, and they had free parking and free internet, so that was great. The hard part was the distance from the city center. There was no good way to get there. We tried driving, but parking was a bit difficult to find, and the meters have to be paid every three hours. There was a bus, but as it was raining the days we were there, we didn't want to take the bus b/c we weren't sure how long we'd have to wait in the rain.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

If you are stumbling around trying to find this hotel at night without a map like I was, the hotel is right on one of the endless roundabouts and the name is in bright neon colors on the side of the white building.
