Mid week trip
Jurys was a lovely hotel, and perfect location. Will definitely try in stay there the next time I'm in Galway, parking next door for 10euro made things easy too. Great stay!

Hassle-free, convenient and Comfortable
My stay at Jury's was simply perfect. The hotel's location a two minutes walk from the city centre was perfect. The room was exactly what I wanted. Simple, functional but extremely comfortable with the conveniences I needed. The staff were friendly and polite, accommodating too. The food was also good. Quite simply, the perfect hotel for a business trip or a weekend away. Not for holidays, but it's everything you need with no cut corners.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Breakfast in the hotel is good, but it's surrounded by a number of lovely little cafés and restaurants who will do you a great breakfast for a little more.

Perfect for short break
Perfect location and value.Hotel was under renovation during our stay and stunk of paint. No residence bar after 1:30 or room service. Wouldn't go back.

great location but...
ideally situated to explore Galway city but was very over-priced for the quality of hotel. Having to pay an additional €10 to park in their carpark for the night of my stay irked me too. would go back but ONLY on a special price (below €100 per night).

A decent place to stay
The location is perfect...the coolest street in Galway. One problem is the water restricter installed on the toilet which is supposed to conserve water, but instead stops the toilet from flushing. You have to keep flushing the toilet, thereby wasting water instead of saving it. We had to fill the waste basket and dump the water to flush the toilet. But ran into the same problem in other hotels throughout the country.

not impressed
The good location is the only highlight of this dismal hotel. The room was tiny and bathroom grubby. I understand that this is a basic budget type hotel but I feel there would have to be better value hotels in the city. The pay parking next door was impractical, with narrow parking spaces which were all full, which we only noted after entering and paying for the privilege of driving around. The beds were simply not suitable for use, lumpy mattresses, there are surely more luxuriant and comfortable abodes in the nearby hostels. I was not impressed and will not be returning.

Nothing special
Its located right by the downtown area. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. The only parking available is in a public garage. 10 Euro for one night in the garage. Lame! No wifi in the room. Technically, you are supposed to pay to use wifi in the lobby, but the guy at the desk gave me a password for free. It only worked for my phone, though, not my wife's phone. Also lame. The room itself was average. The garage sucks. Had to carry heavy suitcases down stairs because the elevator didn't go to the bottom level. Then, had to carry those heavy suitcases up stairs into the lobby of the hotel.

Not great
Perfect location but my 2 night stay with my daughter was a bit disappointing. No WiFi in the room, you had a cable connection option for a fiver an hour. Had to pay 10eur per day for parking. Bathroom was like from 70's and breakfast was insipid. Jurys had a reputation one time and they are wearing it out now i think.
