A really fantastic renovation of combining classic Georgian elagence with all mod cons. (rt07.10) The Athenaeum House Hotel or Rocklands House as it was originally known, is a two storey over basement Georgian Style House with a wing building attached. This was obviously a very large Merchants house with big hall and reception rooms. The new owners have managed to maintain a lot of the original plaster work, fireplaces and windows. It has a commanding position set upon a large outcrop over looking the Harbour and the River The Athenaeum House Hotel is set in six acres of Parkland over looking Waterford Harbour on the banks of the river Suir.
