Budget hotel with very good standards . Great value for money . DC 10/08 Tall modern building typical of the area . Villa Mater is located a few minutes away from the historical centre of Catania and enjoys a stunning view: the sea of Ognina and the "plaia's" white sandy beaches on one side, and Mt. Etna that in the course of the seasons passes from snow-capped peaks to naked slopes crossed by fiery tongues of its own lava.
The house shares part of the local life, where local artesans faithfully reproduce the "flavours" of ancient traditions.
It is far from city clamour and carries forth an intense relation with the "Monte" that constitutes a majestic setting. Hospitality is denoted by a "family welcome" that explains our simple ways.
