We were very lucky to be given a newly renovated room and bathroom. The bathroom is fairly spacious by european standards and the toiletries provided was above our expectation..they even provided a satchet of aloe vera make-up remover ...very Japanese in service! However the srping bed needs some getting used to as it's very bouncy for me.

A lovely hotel not too expensive with a view of the lake. Staff were friendly facilities good. The room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable. The whole place had a lovely feel about it as did the surrounding shops and cafes.

Grand hotel in ideal location,
Grand hotel in ideal location, very knowledgeable reception (good restaurant recommendations). No modern facilities (gym, pool etc)

We found a fantastic rate on this
We found a fantastic rate on this hotel. We decided to take the lowest price available, so we did not include breakfast. We can not comment on the food because we never ate there. Even with the low rate, we were given a room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. The view was fantastic, as was the location. The bathroom was a bit small, but it had been remodeled. We will definitely return on our next trip to Como. We stayed for two nights around the middle of September 2009.

The hotel is in a great location,
The hotel is in a great location, but it has clearly seen better days. I'm sure 25 years ago it was a beautiful hotel, but now it just feels tired and run down...especially for 170 Euros...not worth it in my opinion.

Nous avions une chambre refaite
Nous avions une chambre refaite à neuf avec vue sur le lac. Seul reproche peut être, la taille de la chambre, sinon, tout était parfait.

Schönes Hotel in bester Lage!
Schönes Hotel in bester Lage! Leider ohne Parkplätze - die sollte man laut Personal per Internet buchen ... also parken im 300m entfernten Parkhaus für 20€ pro Tag. Beim Frühstück war irgendwie alles an Backwaren sehr trocken - Frühstückseier und Bacon waren kalt!
