Hotel Spagna is a 2 stars hotel, situated on Via Panzani, one of the historic Florentine street next to the train station Santa Maria Novella and just around the corner from the Duomo and the splendid Santa Maria Novella Church. With its new look, and made up to staff coming from a long and rich experience in the hotel industry, Hotel Spagna is able to offer a series of services to satisfy the needs of all our guests. Our rooms, single, double and triple, are furnished in different styles and offer private bathroom, air conditioning/heating, telephone, television and hairdryer. Our reception is open 24h and our team is at your complete disposal for tours, restaurants, museums and theatre reservations. We grant free Wi-Fi connection and an agreement with a nearby garage with free valet service. As its located in the historical center, Hotel Spagna has no lift. If you are looking for a budget and confortable stay in Florence, Hotel Spagna is the ideal solution!

Florence vacation

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, location was in a 10min. walking distance from the train station which was a big plus for us. The problem is they have no elevator and we were on the fifth floor. Carrying luggage up 5 floors is not fun.

Was re-directed to an adjacent hotel probably because it was out of season or being renovated, but very convenient, situated on the main road to the centre of Florence, no need for buses or taxis. Amazingly cheap for central Florence.

Orbitz Makes Mistakes, Hotel Corrects

When we booked through Orbitz, we recieved our confimation email withing minutes. Two days later, when we showed up inm Florence, the Hotel Spagna was CLOSED and Orbitz had not notified us. A sign on the door of the Hotel Spagna sent us to a hotel a few doors down called Hotel Varsavia. They had not recieved our reservation and said they did not have any rooms. We presented our printout of the reservation from Orbitz (Thank God we had it!) and they made us wait for about 15 minutes while the clerk made some phone calls. Finally, she just gave us a key to a room and we were allowed to stay. The room was beautiful and simple, working amenities, and very basic. Though there is no air conditioning and if you want air, you must open up the windows to allow the fresh air and noise of Florence to come in. Not a good place for light sleepers, but we all managed fine. If you like basic and simple, this is a great location. Though there were mistakes made with our reservationm the Italians made it happen. I recommend always brining your reservation info with you.

這家hotel已經倒掉或是暫時關閉了!!!!所以我們被分配到

這家hotel已經倒掉或是暫時關閉了!!!!所以我們被分配到隔壁的旅館，據說是由他們自行拆帳，而且兩晚不同旅館，可能因為我們不是直接付錢給他們，所以服務態度相當糟，特別是hotel varsavia這家旅館，他在路邊只要有公車經過就會連床一起搖晃，沒有空調但是開窗外面很臭，另一家還OK。
