Economic novice
Affordable, strategic location and very helpful staff
The hotel is walking distance to Estacion Centrale, which we found to be strategic to move around the city. We got a cab when we arrived from the metro into Estacion Centrale; we now know we could have saved that money and walked. However, if it is late at night and you have heavy luggage, i would not recommend walking. Also, it is a 20 minute walk to the main shopping locations and the Duomo! That was great!!! The room was decent and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was good enough but the shower is quite narrow and it may be a problem getting around. The elevator is tiny. The staff is nice and knowledgable. You have to pay for internet which is operated as credit system but they allow you to stop your session and continue later so you dont lose your money's worth. It was very convenient actually because we would use it for 10 minutes one day and use the remaining 50 the next day. The breakfast is well stocked and operated as a buffet so you can get seconds. There are also bakeries around to eat fresh breads and delicious lunches. We thought it was an economical option in an otherwise expensive city. Note that in August many places are closed for holidays.

The Walls Were So Thin, I Could Hear The Next Room's Faucet Leaking
Barely a wink of sleep, The walls were so thin that I may as well have had a cot in the hallway. Had to pay handily for internet and it was as slow as the worst dial-up dating back to the "90s. My stay was unexpectedly extended at the last minute and tho it was evening, I scrambled to find another hotel rather than spend another night in that place. And yes, I actually could hear the faucet leaking from the next guest room. Unbelievable........

nice vacation
the location was great , It was close to everything which was nice. The hotel is a little out dated but the rooms were comfortable and clean.

Hotel very close to the Central station in Milan, hotel staff friendly. Generally enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was decent

The Hotel was ok, it was in a great location near the train station and 40 minutes (walking) away from il duomo. Our stay was pleasant, we had air conditioning. The bad part about the hotel was that first, the WIFI didn't reach our room at the third floor therefore, we had to be at the lobby all the time when we needed internet (internet is not free). Do not order food from them is horrible!

Internet was slow and hopeless,
Internet was slow and hopeless, no signal in the room, even in lobby, the speed is not acceptable (need to refresh my webpage twice every min) but charging very high price. Staff at reception had very very bad attitude to customers.

the location of the hotel is very good, just 5 min walk from the Central Station and subway. The room rather small and there was very cold in the room when we stayed there in November.

Good value for money. Excellent location for train station (and bus transfers to Bergamo airport). 15 minute walk to Duomo area. Didn't feel intimidated by the area, which was quiet at night, as suggested by other reviews. Didn't have breakfast in hotel - seemed a little expensive. Plenty of cafes and bars nearby to get coffee/pastries etc. Very much a working city - tourist areas are more expensive to eat and drink as you would expect
