Tres belle chambre avec baignoire à bulle, calme. Personnel tres sympathique, faisant des efforts pour parler francais. Restaurant de qualité, buffet du petit dejeuner varié. Hotel tres bien situé, à 10 minutes de la gare (depart pour Pompei), du port (mollo beverello pour le depart vers les iles, Capri, Ischia...) et du centre historique. Pas de problème de securité dans la ville et dans le quartier.

Basic OK hotel. Very convenient to train station which is the best way to get around the Naples area. Breakfast was too skimpy, with very limited selection of items. Maybe they should charge a fee so the breakfast can be upgraded. Service was generally good.

We had booked two nights at this hotel and as soon as we arrived and checked in, we canceled the second night. The size of the room and location in the hotel were depressing. For a few more dollars, upgrade to a larger room and perhaps you will have a view. Our view was a cement wall and parked cars. The traffic was horrible and the hotel is on a one way street and difficult to find initially. But I suppose that is Naples. I recommend not going to Naples unless you must for business.

A part la vue exceptionnelle sur la baie de Naples et le Vésuve (à condition d'être logé au dernier étage, cet hôtel est très cher pour les prestations offertes. Par contre, le personnel esst très accueillant et serviable, et le petit déjeuner très copieux. Menu du restaurant peu alléchant. Pas de parking gratuit appartenant à l'hôtel, qui a passé un accord avec le parking public voisin (18 Euros par jour !). Pas de transport public voisin. Je ne conseillerais pas cet hôtel au tourisme.

Ok,but not a great hotel

Staff was not helpful in telling us about how to get around, i.e. buses, subway, trains. It wasn't until the last day that we accidentally discouvered a train/subway approximately 300 yards from the hotel. We could have saved money rather than paying for expensive tours.

Hotel was good for the price in a fairly good location. Good rooom and breakfast. The men on reception were curt and unhelpful. Although the location was good, directly outside the hotel door were people sleeping rough,
We were ripped off by the taxi, even though the hotel indicated a price to the airport. The taxi driver argued at the airport it was more expensive (double) because of sunday etc etc. he became almost violent at the suggestion the price was too much

Très bel hôtel ,accueil chaleureux par le directeur qui est français dans un cadre historique magnifique.proche de la gare qui n est pas le plus beau quartier de Naples,mais pratique pour circuler en train et aller par exemple à pompéi .un service petit déjeuner et repas un peu désorganisé en terme de personnel .manque d informations à l arrivée,nous avons découvert une navette de l hôtel pour le centre ville,par hasard le deuxième jour de notre arrivée.

me,my sister and aunt travelled to 4 cities in italy for 8 days(rome,napoli-pompei, florence-pisa, venice). of all the hotels we went to, our stay at best western was the best as the room we got was modern and spacious for 3 of us, location is literally 5 minutes from the train station, internet access was a bonus. breakfast at the roof top of the building was the best we ever had. everybody was approachable and accommodating.the only thing my aunt did not like is that there was no handle bar in the bathroom to hold on to for support.

The Best Western Plaza is a great basic clean hotel within walking distance of the train station. The area in Naples around the train station is not great, but this was a great hotel for ease of getting to Pompei and saving money to spend on hotels in other cities.

Quite near the main train station. Modern American style hotel - we needed a break from a crazy hotel in Rome the past 2 nites. Nice breakfast setup, and free internet in the lobby. Very convenient to all of the city's sites, including nearby Pompeii train.

elevator are old an damaged, common areas are not very clean.
TV can only see satellite channels no free terrestrial channels !!!
Everything inside needs to be refurbished
Room has a very smalla batroom, you must swing yourself to go inside, only one person can stay inside.

Convenient location. We took the tram from right out front to the harbour to visit Capri. Tour picked us up at hotel door when we visited Pompeii. There was a nearby restaurant, Iris, where food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, and there is a rooftop area for eating when the weather is nice.

The hotel couldn't have been easier to get to from the train station (just a short 5-minute walk.) The service was what you would expect from a decent 4-star hotel and the rooms were modern with a nice European touch.

The hotel is located in an area without transportation -no train or close bus - only expensive taxis.they said that the shuttle is operated only on weekends.the reception desk gave us incorrect informaition about the location of restaurants and we found ourselfs walking all over the bay. They don't have a street mapof naples.we thought breakfast was included but they charged us 10 euro for each person. Very disappointing

Fantastic service! Nice breakfast provided. Cute charming hotel, with large rooms, high ceilings, and marble bathrooms. Fully air conditioned with satellite TV and great security. Highly recommend.

It means that our permanent guest is the cultural event.We will be glad to have you as our guest in the hotel placed in the heart of the Decumans,Historic centre of Naples, just close to the majolica Cloister of Santa Chiara Cloister, San Severo Chapel with its wonderful Veiled Christ sculpture and Spaccanapoli street.The building where the hotel is placed is a XVIII centurys palace and used to be the residence of Cardinal Sisto Riario Sforza, the last Bishop of the Bourbon Kingdom of Naples.
Because of its historical relevance, the palace is under Neapolitan cultural assets administration.
From its glorious past, today the building still keeps intact some beautiful structural elements, such as the wood gate, large stairs, high ceilings with rafters or groin vaults and big wood windows.
In honour of this great personality we restaured his apartment, thinking about all the requirements of a charming and comfortable hotel.
In the common areas of the hotel you can find typical Neapolitan tiled floors with ancient pieces of hand-painted maiolica.

The hotel was lovely, with a very nice breakfast, but in a questionable neighborhood. Then again, I think all of Naples is questionable. The entry to the hotel was very, very run down, but once we got to the second floor an entire new world emerged. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff very helpful

When the taxi drove us to the hotel I was really worried. Naples is the dirtiest city I have ever seen with trash on the streets and the buildings covered with graffiti.
The Hotel was on the second story of a very old building down a narrow street, scary. But when we got up to the stairs to the Hotel it was great, newly redone and very nice. The Hotel staff was very friendly and spoke English. The breakfast was good, and the WiFi was free and worked.
I don't have any desire to go back to Naples, but I recommend the Hotel as a good place to stay.

Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile in particolare la signorina del giorno che è a completa disposizione per ogni esigenza ed indicazione.
Abbiamo avuto un'ottima camera molto spaziosa e con un'ottima vista. Leggermente limitata la colazione, ma più che sufficente. Se dovessi tornare a Napoli soggiornerei volentieri ancora in questo albergo.

The location of the hotel was not good. In a bad part of town. The hotel amenities were good, but expected for the price. However, the concierge service was VERY disappointing. They would not provide me with a receipt and were extremely rude when I asked basic, friendly questions. I would NOT recommend this hotel.

NICE HOTEL, BAD LOCATION

The hotel was nice, but it was in a terrible area! If you go to Naples, stay more towards the center far away from the train station. There was literally homeless people and garbage all over the street. It looked and seemed unsafe. The hotel was modern and nicely decorated, but almost seemed out of place in the area it was in! If you need to stay somewhere near the train station, then this hotel is GREAT, but if you plan on doing a lot of traveling within the city, stay closer to the historic center! :)
