Home base
The Mercure Napoli Angioino Centro Hotel has a friendly and English speaking staff. They were very helpful and polite.It was clean. They are environmental conscious but if you want your towels and bed linens changed everyday they will do it.They only thing was they do not have any English movie channel. It was CNN all day. It is near the central station and walking distance to ferries. It was a good home base for day trips like Sorrento, Capri, Pompei and Vesuvios.

Short walk from hotel
The hotel itself is decent with professional staff. Naples is very dirty. We did not feel like walking around because garbage was everywhere and it was just filthy. Crossings do not have traffic lights so pedestrians esp. tourists just run for their lives. Drivers do not slow down. You have to run faster. One thing 'tho was you see policemen everywhere esp. @ the train stations and ferries. Neapolitans are accommodating. If you ask for directions they try their very best in their limited English to show you where to go.

Poor facilities on day of stay
Poor facilities on day of stay (sunday)- no resturant or bar. Carpets in room in disgusting state and rooms could do with an overhaul. Dirty laundry basket stayed outside room door for hours - no access to computer or internet available which was disappointing. Not sure what city view the hotel is referring to - all we had was buidling works on road outside - wouldn't stay again. As in all Italian hotels - better access to tourist information on city would have been welcome

Bonne adresse
L'emplacement de cet hôtel à deux pas du port pour les îles ainsi que du centre historique permet de profiter au maximum d'un séjour même court. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de restaurant.

La posizione centrale eccellente
La posizione centrale eccellente per visitare la città. Arredamento stanze forse un po' vetusto, in particolare la moquette. Nel complesso discreto. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Decisamente un'esperienza positiva.
Decisamente un'esperienza positiva. In pieno centro, a pochi passi dalle maggiori attrazioni turistiche e vicinissimo al porto turistico. Colazione in camera più che abbondande e di alta qualità. Personale disponibile e molto professionale. (Frigo-bar contenente solo acqua minerale, ma è stato bello comprare le specialità napoletane e riporle nel frigo ... nei paraggi tutti i tipi di negozi, bar e prodotti tipici). Ritorneremo a settembre!
