Good but expensive

Very good location close to the metro and aldo walking distance to some nice attractions. The hop on hop off buses stop 2 minutes from the hotel. There is also a spa where you can use the sauna and turkish pool for free, but it needs some maintanance. The hotel was very pricey and it didn't even include breakfast, it was another 25€ extra per person. They charged 10 euro for room service just for one coffee, which made the coffee cost 16 euro, which we thought was rediculous! As most hotels room service is free.

Excelent location, unfriendly staff

The hotel is very modern and not for everyone. When I arrived the front desk personnel was very friendly and they gave me an excellent room with a terrace. The view was fantastic, so as the comfort of the hotel. However, the day I left the staff was not helpful at all and they were even quite rude. I would strongly recommend the directors to review the personnel staff. Despite that, I would recommend this hotel.

Great value, good stuff

Room is relatively small compared to Boscolo Exedra. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. However, few of them do not speak fluent English. I tried to call the front desk and house keeping for more mouth wash, none of them understand what mouth wash is and just ignore your request. Other than that, the service is decent. Location is very good, just a block away from the Metro Barberini metro station, and walking distance to Piazza Repubblica and Spagna (the shopping area). A great stay.

Good location / Confort correct but no good value for money

The location of the hotel is excellent. I have read many bad posts concerning the style and the atmosphere of the hotel, but, from my perspective, i thinks these negative comments are not deserved: the style is special but modern and trendy. Rooms are originally decorated, modern clean and quite large (for Rome standards). That said, the hotel is no five stars (as they claim): our window had view on the A/C engine of the hotel (extremely noisy), the amenties are of poor quality, the SPA/pool are barely clean. These are no real issues but this is not what you would expect from a five stars hotel, especially for the price they are charging for the room. Last but not least, the service is terrible. Here is the best exemple why: Since parking is impossible in Rome, you will certainly leave your car to the hotel concierge. It will cost you EUR 35. Neverthesless, this is not the worst part: I had to wait more than one hour from the moment I asked for my car until I can drive to the airport! Despite this major issue, the staff did not do anything, they charge me for the parking anyway, they did not apologize and, worst of all, did not give us any explanation. In couclusion, the hotel is fine, well-located, but overpricy for what you get (espcially in terms of service). If you can get a special offer: fine. Otherwise, be prepared to be desappointed

Absurd decor + nothing works

The Boscolo has the most tasteless, over-the-top decor ever. Dark, gloomy reds and blacks, absurd artefacts everywhere, and all with a great air of pretentiousness. But there is no bell hop when you arrive, no wi-fi in the rooms ( and the DSL cable doesn't work), no plug in the bathtub, an absurdly "modern" sink that splashes water, an overhead shower that doesn't work (only a hand-held one with so much pressure that it's like holding a machine gun), no business center... Need I go on? To be avoided!

The best in Italy

I can truly recommend the Aleph Boscolo Hotel Rome. The hotel was a really positive experience. The room was spacious which is not typical for Italian hotel. Breakfast was very extensive, and the terrace bar on the roof was very pleasant. The location is good, because the noise of the city does not carry up to the hotel. Certainly not to the top floor, where our room was located. Nearby Villa Borghese park is suitable for fine morning run. Aleph Boscolo's staff was one of the service-minded, which I've never come across on my trips. Maybe even the best team ever in any European hotel. The room was cleaned and towels and robes were changed twice a day, while the spa products were complemented in bathroom. Late late check out was a complete success and the doorman organized a comfortable ride to the airport. I will certainly head to this hotel next time in Rome. And if you had enough Italian food the Hard Rock Cafe Rome is one block from the hotel.

fantastic friendly hotel

The hotel was situated close to the spanish steps and the Barberini square. The reception staff were very helpful and recommended and booked us a typically Italian restaurant for my husbands birthday, the meal was first class. The room was comfortable and the wet room really stylish. I would highly recommend a trip to Rome and a stay in this hotel . The roof terrace is great for an evening cocktail before exploring the city enjoy!!!
