Centrally located, renovated hotel with stylish non-smoking rooms
A completely renovated 19th century property, the Augusta Lucilla Palace Hotel sits less than a 15-minute walk from many of Rome's most spectacular attractions, including the Opera Theatre, the Coliseum and the Spanish Steps. An Italian-Asian fusion restaurant serves dishes from Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Thai culinary traditions, and guests take buffet breakfasts on the roof top terrace in the summer. A multilingual staff mans the 24-hour reception, with a concierge available to help organize and book tours and tickets. Great location, better price
The hotel was great especially for the price. It is walking distance from the main Train Terminal in Rome and many other tourist sights. Although the room was a little small, the hotel staff was pleasant and helpful.

Thanksgiving in Rome
A very clean & pleasant hotel located near metro & train. Helpful staff, good breakfast & nice size room. Our 3rd trip to Rome and the best hotel so far.

Great location
Very close to train station - allows you to walk and save on taxi... rooms were slightly small, bathroom really nice. Would have like to have a chair in the room..only had a bed. For the money it was a great deal and would stay there again.

The rooms were small but common for a big city. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and is a good location for transportation and restraurants. Breakfast was good.

Unbeatable location for the price
The location was great as it was only a 5 minute walk to the main train/bus station. There was also plenty of choices around as far as food goes. The location was nice and quit at night.

Currently undergoing renovations during the daytime as at 10.10.2009. Perfectly located a stone's throw from the main transport hub. No restaurant inside the hotel.

Augusta Lucilla is a good hotel
Augusta Lucilla is a good hotel located near Termini - literally a 5 minute walk. The hotel is very convenient to get from Fuimicino-Airport in Rome. It's very clean and tidy hotel. My room was quite small, but it was a balcony in my room that overlooked the courtyard, so day and night was very quiet and I was comfortable to sleep. Air conditioner is not working properly in my room, but perhaps for my February visit to Rome that did not matter. Breakfasts at the hotel were modest - no fresh fruit and loved by all porridge, and cheese just melted. There is no free internet in hotel, just for the money - 5 euro per hour. In my opinion Augusta Lucilla is a good three-star hotel.
